ORDINANC E NO. 1918 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED <br />BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; FSTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL <br />DISTRICT (GR) ON THE NORTH SIDE OF CLARKS VILL E STR EET, ON A TRACT <br />FFZONTING 166 FEET ON CLARKSVILLE STREET and 275.4 FEET ON THE <br />WEST SIDE OF PROPOSED 27TH STREET, S. E., AND ON A TRACT FRONTING <br />311 FEET ON CLARKSVILLE STREET AND 302.3 FEET ON THE EAST SIDE OF <br />PROPOSED 27TH STREET, S. E. , ON PROPERTY BEL,ONGING TO BARNEY BRAY, <br />SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE- <br />FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIFS <br />OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO FSTABLISHED; AND PLACING <br />THE PROPERTY HEREIN INVOLVED IN THE FIRE LIMITS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretof ore established by <br />the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General <br />Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on <br />the North Side of Clarksville Street, on a tract fronting 166 feet <br />on Clarksville Street and 275.4 feet on the West Side of proposed <br />27th Street, S. E., and on a tract fronting 311 feet on Clarksville <br />Street and 302.3 feet on the Ea.st Side of proposed 27th Street, <br />S. E., on property belonging to Barney Bray, so as to include in <br />such General Retail District (GR) the hereinafter described pro- <br />perty, which was f ormerly and is presently designated as a One- <br />Fam11y Dwelling District No. 2 SF_2 <br />the said General Retail District (GR), be,~ andttheesamenare1hereb <br />established as follows: y <br />TRACT 1 <br />~ Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City o.f <br />Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the <br />George W. Cox Survey, and being a part of a tract of land <br />allotted to Barney Bray as recorded in Vol. 3, Page 448, <br />of the District Court Records of said County and State. <br />BEGINNING at a stake for corner in the North Boundary <br />Line of Clarksville Street at the present Southwest corner <br />of said Bray tract of land; <br />THENCE North O Deg. 40 Min. Ea,st a distance of 200 feet <br />to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE Ea,st a distance of 161.5 feet to a stake for <br />corner; <br />THENCE along the West Boundary Line of 27th S. E. as <br />follows: South 7 Deg. 22 Min. East a distance of 102 <br />feet; Southerly along a curve to the right a distance of <br />173.4 feet; South 25 Deg. LVest a distance of 2.2 feet to <br />a stake for corner; <br />THENCE North 65 Deg. West along the North Boundary <br />Line of Clarksville Street, a distance of 166 feet to <br />the place of beginning and containing 0.93 acres of land. <br />TRACT 2 <br />~ Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br />Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of <br />the George W. Cox Survey, and being a part of a tract <br />of land allotted to Barney Bray as recorded in Vol. 3, <br />Page 448, of the District Court Records of said County <br />and State. <br />
