ORDINANCE NO. 1945 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTASLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 2A. CITY BLOCK 318, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO C. W. PICKERING, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DFSIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); DFSIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO FSTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District (C), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 2A, City Bloclc 318, on property belonging to C. W. Pickering, so as to include in such Commercial District (C), the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an Agricultural District (A), and that the boundaries of the said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, No. 524, and being a part of a 2 acre tract of land conveyed Redus G. Holmes by deed recorded in Vol. 392, Page 372, of the Deed Records of said County and State. BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner at the Northwest corner of said Holmes tract of land; THENCE South 88 Deg. 10 Min. Ea.st a distance of 171 feet to an iron pin for corner at the most Northerly Northeast corner of said Holmes tract; THENCE South at 209 feet being an ell corner of said tract of land, continuing on a total distance of 356 feet to an iron pin for corner; THENCE West along the South Boundary Line of said Holmes tract of land a distance of 90 feet to an iron pin for corner; THENCE North 44 Deg. West along the North Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286 a distance of 130 feet to an iron pin for corner; THENCE North 2 Deg. East a distance of 268 feet to the place of beginning. Being Lot 2A. City Block 318. Section 2. That the City En.gineer of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accord- ance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
