ORDINANC E NO. 1956 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES FSTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI ) AND ANIMAI, SLAUGHTERING PLANT AND SMOKE COOKING OPERATION (S) ON A PART OF LOT 13 OF THE HENRY SMITH SFCOND ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PARIS, ON PROPFFZTY SELONGING TO GENERAL MEAT COMPANY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIG- NATED AS A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) AND ANIMAL SLAUGHTERING PLANT AND SMOKE COOKING OPERATION (S) SO FSTABLISHED; AND PLACING QONDITIONS THEREON, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COLTNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Light Industrial District (LI) and Animal Slaughtering Plant and Smoke Cooking Operation (S), be, and the same is hereby established on a part of Lot 13 of the Henry Smith Second Addition to the City of Paris, on property belonging to General Meat Company, so asto include in such Light Industrial District (LI) and Animal Slaughtering Plant and Smoke Cooking Operaion (S), the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a Light Industrial District (LI), and that the boundaries of the said Light Industrial District (LI) and Animal Slaughtering Plant and Smoke Cooking Operation (S), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: A part of the Redding Russell Survey and being the West 60 .feet off of Lot 13 of the Henry Smith Second Addition to the City of Paris, according to map or plat of such addition recorded in Book 1, Page 162, Lamar County Plat Records, described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a stake in the SB line of Center Avenue at the NE corner of the lot conveyed by Henry Smith to L. C. Glasscock on November 10, 1945 by deed recorded in Book 277, Page 332, Lamar County Deed Records; THENCE South 347.5 feet, a stake; THFNCE East 59.7 feet, a stake; THENCE North 341.7 feet, a stake in the SB line of Center Street; THENCE West with the SB line of Center Street 60 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
