ORDINANCE NO. 1960 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PA,RIS, PARIS, TExAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIFS ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DIS- TRICT (C) ON A PART OF LOT 4, CITY BLOCK 237-A, ON PROPEFZTY BE- LONGING TO ROBERT MEEKS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FOR- MERLY DFSIGNATED AS AN ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIFS OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS; Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District (C), be, and the same is hereby established on a part of Lot 4, City Block 237-A, on property belonging to Robert Meeks, so as to include in such Commercial District (C), the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows; Being the North 150 feet off of the hereinafter described property, fronting 121 feet on Campbell Street, situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar and State of Texas, a part of the Asa Jarman Survey; BEGINNING at a stake in the NB line of Walker Street, same being the SE corner of a 4 acre tract owned by Mrs. Gussie Berger Ammons; THENCE West with the SB line of same and the NB line of Walker Street, 121 feet to a stake; THFNCE North 344.5 feet to the NB line of the G.issie Berger Ammons 4 acres; THENCE East with the NB line of same, 121 feet to the NE corner of same; THENCE South with the EB line of same, 344.5 feet to the place of beginning. Being Lot 4, City Block 237-A. Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme- diately upon passage.
