ORDINANCE NO. 1963 AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING THREE MEMSERS TO THE EQUALIZATION BOARD OF THE CITY OF PARTS, PARIS, TEXAS, TO SERVE FOR THE CURRENT TAXABLE YEAR, FSTABLISHING THE TIME FOR THE FIRST MEET- ING OF THE EQUALIZATION D~D P~ROAVBIDI GIFORTAN EFFECTIVE DATER THE MEMBERS OF SAID BOAR , BE IT ORDAINFD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PAR I S , TEXLIS : Section 1. That Ben Marable, W. B. Richards and Martin DeWitt, all residents of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and qualified voters and real property owners in said City, be, and they are hereby appointed as the Board of Equali2ation of the City of Paris for the current taxable year. Section 2. That the time of the meeting of said Equalization Board is hereby fixed for the lst day of June, 1970. Section 3. The regular place of ineeting of and for the Equalization Board is hereby fixed and established as the Council Room in the City Hall in the City of Paris, Texas. Section 4. The rate of pay for each such appointed member of said Equalization Board for the current taxable year is hereby established at the rate of Thirty ($30000) Dollars per day, and the hereby to make payment out of rate of pay of Thirty ($30.00) Dollars per day. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective imme- diately upon passage. Passed and adopted this 11th day of May, 1970. B. M.
