ING SUCH CODE; AND PROVIDiNG WHEN THIS ORD7NANGE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. 3 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: ; Section 1. That the Code of Ordinances, consisting of Ghap.. ters i to 31, each inclusive, is hereby adopted and enacted as the "Coc1e of Ordinances, City of Paris, Texas" and shall be treated and considerecl as a new and original comprehensive orc3inance which shall supersede a1l other general and permanent ordinances passed by the City Council, on or before December 8, 1969, to the extent provic1ed in Section 2 hereof. 5ection 2. That all provisions of such Code shail be in full q force anc1 effect from and after the ist day of September , 1970, s ~ s ~ and aIl orclinances of a general and permanent nature of the City of ; i Paris, enacted on finai passage on or before December 8, 19 69, and ~ not included in such Gode or recognized and continued in force by reference therein, are hereby repealed from and after the lst day of September , 1970, except as hereinafter provided.
