ORDINANC E NO. 1989 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HFARING ON PRO- PERTY ON 18TH STR EET, N. W., FROM THE NORTH BOUNDARY LINE OF GRAHAM STREET TO THE SOUTH BOUNDARY LINE OF SHILOH STREET, AND SHILOH STREET, FROM THE FAST BOUNDARY LINE OF 18TH STREET, N. W. TO THE EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF 19TH STR EET, N. W., INCLUDING A SMALL PARKWAY THER EIN, IN THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS; DIR DCTING THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO PUBLISH THE SAME THREE (3) TIMES IN THE PARIS NEWS AS REQUIRED BY LAW; APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE FINAL ESTIMATE OF COSTS AND CONSTRUCTION PLANS OF SUCH STR EET IMPROVEMENTS AS FILED BY THE DIR DCTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF PARIS; FIXING THE CHARGFS TO BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS AND THE CHARGFS TO BE PAID BY THE CITY OF PARIS; AND WITH THE INTENTION OF FIXING A CHARGE AND LIEN AGAINST THE REAL AND TRUE OWNERS OF SAID PROPERTY AND AGAINST THE SAID PROPERTY ITSELF. Whereas, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, hereby finds and determines; 1. That the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, has heretofore by ordinance duly enacted on the 13th day of April, 1970, determined the necess- ity for and ordered the improvement of 18th Street, N. W., from the North Boundary Line of Graham Street to the South Boundary Line of Shiloh Street, and Shiloh Street, from the Ea.st Boundary Line of 18th Street, N. W. to the Ea.st Boundary Line of 19th Street, N. W., including a small parkway therein, by installation of a six inch (611) soil cement base with an one and one-half inch 1211) as- phalt surface, an d according to the plans and spe- cifications prepared by the Director of Public Works. 2. That a notice duly executed in the name of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, of the enactment of said above described ordinance has heretofore been filed with the County Clerk of Lamar County, Texas, the County in which said City of Paris is situated. 3. That the City Council has caused the Director of Public Works to prepare and file estimates of the costs of such improvements and estimates of the amounts per front foot to be assessed against the property abutting said streets within the limits defined and the real and true owners thereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS:
