ORDINANCE NO. 1990 . <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PRO- <br />PERTY ON F11ST CHERRY STREET, FROM THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF <br />LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 227-A, AND THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF LOT 6, <br />CITY BLOCK 227, IN AN EASTERLY DIRDCTION APPROXIMATELY 581 <br />FEET TO THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF 20TH STREET, N. E., BEING <br />THE EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 227-D, AND THE <br />EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF LOT 10, CITY BLOCK 227-E, IN THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, TExAS; DIRDCTING THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS TO PUBLISH THE SAME THR EE (3) TIMES IN THE PARIS NEWS <br />AS R EQUIRED BY LAW; APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE FINAL ESTI- <br />MATE,OF COSTS AND CONSTRUCTION PLANS OF SUCH STREET IMPROVE- <br />MENTS AS FILED BY THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS; FIXING THE CHARGFS TO BE ASSFSSED AGAINST THE <br />ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS AND THE CHARGES TO BE PAID BY THE <br />CITY OF PARIS; AND WITH THE INTENTION OF FIXING A CHARGE <br />AND LIFN AGAINST THE REAL AND TRUE OWNERS OF SAID PROPERTY <br />AND AGAINST THE SAID PROPERTY ITSELF. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, hereby finds and determines: <br />1. That the City Council of the City o.f Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, has heretofore by ordinance duly enacted on <br />the 14th day of September, 1970, determined the <br />necessity for and ordered the improvement of Ea,st <br />Cherry Street, .from the West Boundary Line of <br />Lot 6, City Block 227-A, and the West Boundary Line <br />of Lot 6, City Block 227, in an Ea,sterly direction <br />approximately 581 feet to the West Boundary Line of <br />20th Street, N. E., being the East Boundary Line of <br />Lot 5, City Block 227-D, and the East Boundary Line <br />of Lot 10, City Block 227-14 by installation of <br />curb and gutter, storm sewer and paving, and accord- <br />ing to the plans and specifications prepared by the <br />Director of Public Works. <br />2. That a notice duly executed in the name of the City <br />of Paris, Paris, Texas, of the enactment of said <br />above described ordinance has heretof ore been filed <br />with the County Clerk of Lamar County, Texas, the <br />County in which said City of Paris is situated. <br />3. That the City Council has caused the Director of <br />Public Works to prepare and file estimates of the <br />costs of such improvements and estimates of the <br />amounts per front foot to be assessed against the <br />property abutting said street within the limits <br />,ar,-a., ,..._.3 ' " - - <br />
