The motion carried 7 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br /> <br />Mayor Pfiester declared the public hearing open to consider the petition of <br />Mary Gibson for a change in zoning from a Multiple-Family Dwelling District <br />No. 1 (MF-1) to a Commercial District (C) on Lots 13B, City Block 157, <br />located at 1095 1 st SW. <br /> <br />Mayor Pfiester called for proponents to appear, and Mary Gibson, 960 S. Main <br />Street, came forward telling the City Council that this property is on the corner <br />for 1 st SW and Long Street and across from the Lamar County Jail, with the <br />property to the north and south is zoned Commercial.
