Historic Plaza and Square Renovation _____-- <br />Paris, Texas <br /> <br />The following is a response to the Legal Notice- Request for Professional Provider for historic <br />preservation, architectural, landscape architecture and engineering services for the renovation of the <br />downtown historic Plaza and square in Paris, Texas. ARCHITEXAS is interested in providing the <br />services with MESA Design as a joint venture as outlined in the Notice and enthusiastically submits <br />this response. <br />ARCH1TEXAS is a Dallas based, highly specialized historic preservation and architectural finn with <br />over twenty five years of professional historic preservation experience. We have provided services <br />for similar projects throughout Texas and has worked with MESA Design on numerous similar <br />projects. <br /> <br /> Our knowledge of the Paris area is extensive. Our firm completed the Architectural and Historic <br /> Resources Survey of Paris, Texas in 1985 that included recommendations that designated the <br /> downtown commercial district a National Register of Historic Places district. ARCHITEXAS is the <br /> architectural firm completing the construction documents for the historic Hotel Gibraltar for the St. <br /> Joseph's Hospital Prime Time Center. ARCHITEXAS just completed a master plan for the Lamar <br /> County Courthouse that included a design and recommendations for the rehabilitation of the <br /> courthouse and courthouse grounds.
