Wendy Lopez & Associates, Inc. <br /> <br />Wendy Lopez & Associates, Inc. (WLA) was established in Dallas in 1988. Since that <br />time, the firm has grown to encompass a staff of over 100 professional, technical and <br />support personnel. The firm's current services include environmental, planning and cultural <br />resources studies; civil, environmental, mechanical, electrical, structural and geotechnical <br />engineering; surveying; and construction management and inspection, provided to clients <br />in both the public and private sectors. <br />WLA is certified by the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency as a small <br />M/WBE firm (Minority/Woman Owned), and by the State of Texas as a Historically <br />Underutilized Business (HUB). WLA is also certified by the U.S. Small Business <br />Administration as a participant in its 8(a) program. <br /> In addition to general environmental studies for NEPA compliance, WLA environmental <br /> services include environmental-related water/wastewater services, hazardous materials <br /> and remediation services, and biological/ecological studies, as well as cultural resources <br /> investigations. Key environmental staff members hold appropriate OSHA and other <br /> relevant training and certifications. Cultural resources services include archaeological <br /> background research, survey, and testing for Section 106/110 compliance, National <br /> Register eligibility assessment, and cultural resource management plans. Other <br /> environmental services include Environmental Assessments and audits, Environmental <br /> Impact Statements, floodplain and wetlands investigations, Major Investment and feasibility <br /> studies, municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment, water distribution <br /> systems, water and wastewater pumping stations, industrial waste sludge disposal, regional <br /> water and wastewater master plans, infiltration/inflow analyses, NPDES Storm Water <br /> Permitting and Pollution Prevention Plans, Phase I and II environmental site inspections, <br /> UST closure and remediation design. <br /> <br /> <br />
