Statement of Qualifications <br /> <br />· <br />· <br /> <br />Selected En ineerin Ex erience <br /> <br />· <br />· <br />· <br />· <br />· <br />· <br />· <br /> <br />U.S. 380 Roaciway <br />Widening Project <br />Coffin County, Texas <br /> <br />WLA provided project management and was responsible for <br />preparing plans, specifications and cost estimates to widen <br />3.2 miles of rural and urban roadway from a two-lane to a <br />four-lane facility. The design assignment included horizontal <br />and vertical realignment, curb and gutter with storm drain, <br />utility relocations and the upgrading of culverts, raising the <br />roadway profile above the 100-year floodplain. Surveying <br />responsibilities included verification of topographic mapping, <br />vertical control, and staking the final alignment of the <br />roadway. <br /> <br />· <br />· <br />· <br />· <br />· <br />· <br /> <br />IH30 Widening and <br />Reconstruction <br />Dallas, Texas <br /> <br />WLA performed hydraulic analysis, drainage design and <br />prepared drainage and storTn sewer construction plans for <br />this TxDOT, 6.7 mile Interstate Highway widening project. <br />The scope of work included hydraulic modeling of Coombs <br />Creek and Chalk Hill Creek, scour analysis of the Trinity <br />River bridge and hydraulic analysis of 36 culverts utilizing the <br />WSP, H EC2 and THYSYS hydraulics software packages. The <br />estimated construction cost for the project is $120 million. <br /> <br />· <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Cedar Creek Water and <br />Wastewater Replacements <br />Dallas, Texas <br /> <br />WLA, as Prime Consultant, is preparing preliminary and final <br />designs for the replacement/rehabilitation of approximately <br />10,475 linear feet of wastewater lines which had been <br />identified as inadequate in the City of Dallas' Cedar Creek <br />Drainage Area I/I Reduction Plan and other studies. The <br />project also includes the replacement of approximately <br />4,545 linear feet of water line adjacent to the wastewater <br />lines, as well as topographic mapping and required pavement <br />replacements. Trenchless technology was employed at a <br />number of sites.
