DRAFT <br />RESOLUTION N0. <br />A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, <br />AND THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS, APPOIIVTING <br />MEMBERS TO THE PARIS-LAMAR COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH; MAKING <br />OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris and the Lamar County Commissioners <br />Court considered appointments to the Paris-Lamar County Board of Health at their regularly <br />scheduled meetings, and the City Council of the City of Paris and the Lamar County <br />Commissioners Court, do hereby recommend the appointments of Ms. Kristi Martin, citizen and <br />Dr. Keith House, Doctor of Veterinary Science for a term of one year term beginning July 1, 2012 <br />and ending June 30, 2013; Dr. William George, Doctor of Dental Science and Dr. Rick Erickson, <br />Doctor of Medicine for a two year term beginning July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2014; Dr. <br />Lav Singh, Doctor of Medicine and Dr. Mark Gibbons, Doctor of Medicine for a three year term <br />beginning July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2015; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />TEXAS AND THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS: <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all <br />things approved. <br />Section 2. That Kristi Martin, citizen and Dr. Keith House, Doctor of Veterinary Science <br />are hereby appointed to serve as members of the Paris-Lamar County Board of Health for a one <br />year term, beginning July 1, 2012, and ending June 30, 2013; that Dr. William George, Doctor of <br />Dental Science and Dr. Rick Erickson, Doctor of Medicine are hereby appointed to serve as <br />members of the Paris-Lamar County Board of Health for a two year term beginning July 1, 2012 <br />and ending June 30, 2014; and that Dr. Lav Singh, Doctor of Medicine and Dr. Mark Gibbons, <br />Doctor of Medicine are hereby appointed to serve as members of the Paris-Lamar County Board <br />of Health for a three year term beginning July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2015. <br />Section 3.
