Phase II - Scope of Work - Lead Paint Abatement Irerracon <br />Grand Theatre ■ 21 Lamar Avenue, Paris, Texas <br />June 4, 2012 ■ Terracon Project No. 94107645 <br />3.6 Clearance <br />The lead risk assessor shall confirm job completeness by determining whether LBP <br />has been abated according to the abatement plan. Once the surface has passed a <br />visual inspection wipe sampling for lead dust concentrations shall be collected by the <br />Owner's Representative and conducted as follows: <br />a) Post-abatement or removal to determine if previously specified clearance <br />criteria has been met in each area of remediation. The clearance level <br />has been established at 40 micrograms per square foot (µg/ft) on <br />horizontal surfaces. <br />b) The specific location and number of samples will be determined upon <br />conclusion of the remediation. If at any time the post-abatement or <br />removal wipe samples exceed the clearance levels identified. The <br />Contractor shall be responsible additional cleaning of the area to attempt <br />to achieve clearance levels. If additional cleaning is required, the <br />Contractor will perform the re-cleaning with no adjustment in the contract <br />price. In addition, the Contractor will be responsible for the costs of <br />retesting, and the on-site industrial hygiene technician's time on-site <br />during the cleaning activities. <br />4.0 CONTRACTOR SUBMITTALS <br />Submittals required for proper execution include but are not limited to the following: <br />Each of the following documents shall be current and remain current during the course of <br />the project. If a document expires during the course of the project, workers will not be <br />allowed to perForm abatement operations until an updated document has been submitted <br />to the OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE. <br />Pre-Construction Submittals (submitted to CONSULTANT): <br />Regulatory Notification Information <br />Plan of Action <br />Fire Action Plan <br />Emergency Phone List <br />Project Schedule <br />Responsive ■ Resourceful■ Reliable 11 <br />
