AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATEp TIME ANDPLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPO5ED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PRO- PERTY BY THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXA59 AND AUTHORIZING AND DI- RECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLI5H NOTICE OF 5UCH PUBLIC HEARING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARI5„ TEXAS: Section 1. That on the 3rd day of February9 A. D., 1967, at 7:00 osclock P. M., in the City Council. Chamber of the City Hall of the City of Paris, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing to give all in- terested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexa- tion by the City of Paris, Texas, of the following described property, to-wit: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and Iocated South and East from the present City Limit Lines of the City of Paris, and described as follows: Beginning at the present most South Eastern Limits of the City o£ Paris, at a point which is located in the West Line of what would be an extension of 6th Street, S. E. ; Thence East and paraU.el to the proposed Loop Highway 286,t at a distance of 600 feet from the center line of the outer loop of said highway; Thence in an Eastern and Northerly direction to the W. B. Line of F. M. Highway 1507; Thence North with the W. B. Line of F. M. Highway 1507 to the South edge of the outer loop of proposed Loop Highway 286 South East; Thence in a Northerly and Easterly direction with the S. B. Line of said outer loop of said highway to a point 600 feet East of the E. B. Line of F. M. Section 2. That the Mayor of the City of Paris, Texas is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be pub- lished once in the newspaper having general circulation in the Gity and in the above described territory not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the date of such public hearing, a11 in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act (Chapter 160; Acts of the 58th Legislature, Regular Session, 1963; compiled as Article 970a, Vernonrs Texas Civil Statutes).
