ORDINANCE NO. 1819 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING <br />MA,P OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING AN OFFICE DISTRICT ON THE NORTH SIDE <br />OF LAMAR AVENUE, 91 FEET WEST OF 12TH STREET, N.E., FRONTING 70 FEET <br />ON LAMAR AVENUE AND EXTENDING 216 FEET TO EAST HOUSTON STREET, ON <br />PROPERTY BELONGING TO JIM A. MILES, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRI- <br />TORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A MF-l DISTRICT; AND DESIGNATING THE <br />BOUNDARIES OF THE OFFICE DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED: <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br />Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are <br />hereby changed, and that an Office District be, and the same is here- <br />by established on the North Side of Lamar Avenue, 91 feet West of <br />12th Street, N,E., fronting 70 feet on Lamar Avenue and extending <br />216 feet to East Houston Street, on property belonging to Jim A. <br />Miles, so as to include in such Office District the hereinafter de- <br />scribed property, which was formerly and is presently designated as <br />a MF-1 District, and that the boundaries of said Office District, <br />be, and th e same are hereby established as follows: <br />First Tract: Beginning at the SW corner of the 8 3/4 <br />acres of land conveyed by M.L. Mayers and husband to <br />E.S. Connor and J.D. McDade, shown in Book 65, page 285, <br />Lamar County Deed Records; Thence East with NB line of <br />Lamar Avenue, 60 feet to stake 91 feet West of the W'3 <br />line of Webb Street (12th St,, N.E.); Thence North <br />parallel with 12th Street, N.E., 216 feet to Houston <br />Street; to a stake 91 feet West of 12th Street, N,E.; <br />Thence West with the SB line of Houston Street, 60 f2et; <br />Thence South 216 feet to the place of beginning, <br />Second Tract: Beginning at the SW corner of Fred and <br />Isabel Manton home place on the North side of Lamar <br />Avenue; Thence West with the said NB line of Lamar <br />Avenue, 10 feet; Thence North 216 feet, more or less to <br />Houston Street; Thence East 10 feet to Mantons NW <br />corner; Thence South 216 feet, more or less to the place <br />of beginning. <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, <br />and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of <br />Paris, in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and <br />the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br />provisions of this ordinance. <br />Section 3.
