ORDINANCE NO. 1825 o AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONIN G ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT ON THE NORTH SIDE OF CLARKSVILLE STREET, EAST OF 24TH STREET) S. E,~ ON PRC3PERTY BELONGING TO-THE ARCHIE BRAY ESTATE, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A SF..2 DISTRICT; DESIG_ NATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISH«• ED; AND PLACING THE PROPERTY HEREIN INVOLVED IN THE FIRE LIMITS, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1, That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail District be, and the same is hexeby established on the North Side of Clarksville Street, East of 24th Street, S, E,, on property belonging to the Archie Bray Estate, so as to include in such General Retail District the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a SFA2 District, and that the boundaries of said General Retail District, be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the George W. Cox Survey, and being a part of a 16 acre tract of land as allotted to Archie Bray as shown in Vol. 3, Page 448-450, of the 62nd District Court Records, Beginning at a post for corner in the North Boundary Line of Cl-rksville Street, said point being the present Southeast Corner of said 16 acre tract of land; Thence North 64 Deg. West along the North Boundary Line of Clarksville Street a distance of 880 ft, to a stake for corner at the present Southwest Corner of said 16 acres of land; Thence North 2 deg, East a distance of 428 feet to a post for corner; Thence South 79 deg. 30 min. East a distance of 130 feet; Thence South 83 deg. 30 min, East a distance of 150 feet; Thence North 85 deg, 30 min. East a distance of 186 feet; Thence North 78 deg, 40 min. East a distance of 140 feet; Thence East a distance of 197 feet to the East Boundary Line of said 16 acre tract of land; Thence South 0 deg. 50 min. West a distance of 811 feet to the place of beginning about 112 acres of land, more or less. Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris, in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No, 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. That the above described property shall be and it is hereby placed in the Fire L.imits of the City of Paris.
