ORDINANCE NO. 1829 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZON- ING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AT THE SOUTH EAST INTERSECTION OF EAST PRICE STREET AND 20TH STREET., N. E., ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO THERON T. NIANESS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A SF••2 DISTRICT; DESIG«• NATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED; AND PLACING THE PROPERTY HEREIN INVOLVED IN THE FIRE LIMITS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District be, and thesame is hereby established at the South East intersection of East Price Street and 20th Street, N. E., on property belonging to Theron T. Maness, so as toinclude in such Commercial District the hereinafter described property, which was fo rmerly and is presently designated as a SF..2 District, and that the boundaries of said Commercial District, be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the E. B. Line of 20th Street, N. E. and the South Boundary Line of East Price Street; Thence South 140 feet, a stake; Thence East and parallel with the South Boundary Line of East Price Street, 73 feet, a stake; Thence North and parallel with the East Boundary Line of 20th Street, N. E., 140 feet, a stake in the S. S. Line of East Price Street; Thence West 73 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris, in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. That the above described property shall be and it is hereby placed in the Fire Limits of the City of Paris. Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con•. flict herewith are hexeby expressly repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage. Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris in regular session convened at Council Chambers on.-this the 12th day of June, A. D., 1967.
