ORDINANCE NO. 1880 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZON•- <br />ING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT A.T <br />THE NORTH WEST INTERSECTION OF EAST SHERMl3N STREET AND 14TH STREET, <br />S. E.1 ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO MWKP INVESTMENTS, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br />THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO.•FAMILY DWELLING <br />DISTRICT; DESIGNATING THE BOUNDEIRIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT <br />SO ESTABLISHED; AND PLACING THE PROPERTY HEREIN INVOLVED IN THE <br />FIRE LIMITS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofoxe established by the <br />Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are <br />hereby changed, and that a General Retail District, be, and the <br />same is hereby established at the North West intersection of East <br />Sherman Street and 14th Street, S. E., on property belonging to <br />MWKP Investments, so as to inc.lude in such General Retail District <br />the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is pre» <br />sently designated as a Two~Family Dwelling District, and that the <br />boundaries of said General Retail District, be, and the same are <br />hereby established as follows : <br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br />Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the <br />Larkin Rattan Survey, and being a description of a tract <br />of land conveyed the Bogata Lumber Co. as recorded in <br />Vol. 351, Page 602, alsa being a tract of land conveyed <br />Edda B. Hill as recorded in Vol. 188, Page 206, also <br />being tracts one and two as conveyed Mary Isabella Love <br />as recorded in Vol. 284, Page 247, of the Deed Records <br />of said County and State. <br />Beginning at a stake for corner at the intersection of <br />the North Boundary LineaE Sherman St. with the West <br />Boundary Line of 14th S. E. , said point fox corner being the <br />Southeast corner of said Bogata Lumber Co. tract. <br />Thence Northerly along the West Boundary Line of 14th <br />S.E. a distance of 248 ft. to an iron pin for corner at the <br />Northeast corner of said Love -tract one, said point being <br />Southerly a distance of 212 ft. from the South Boundary Line <br />of Clarksville St.; <br />Thence North 89 Deg. 30 Min. West a distance of 167 ft. <br />to a post for corner at the Northwest corner c~E said Love <br />tract one; <br />Thence North 13 Deg. 15 Min. East a distance of 11 ft, <br />to a post for corner at the Northeast corner of said Lw e <br />tract two; <br />Thence North 87 Deg. 40 Min. West a distance of 78 ft. <br />to a post for corner at the Northwest corner of said Love <br />tract two; <br />Thence South 13 Deg. 40 Min. West a distance of 37 ft. <br />to a post for cornex at the Southwest corner of said Love <br />tract two; <br />Thence North 64 Deg. 45 Min. West a distance of 170 ft. <br />to a post for corner at the Northwest corner of said Bogata <br />Lumber Co. tract; <br />Thence South a distance of 301 ft. to a stake for corner <br />in the North Boundary Line of Sherman St., said point being <br />Southwest corner of said Bogata Lumber Co, tract; <br />
