ORDINANCE NO. 1836 . AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1812, FIXING THE SPEED ON FARM-TO--MARKET ROAD 1507, FROM THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF STATE HIGHWAY 24 AND EVERGREEN STREET AND EXTENDING EAST ON F.M. ROAD 1507 TO THE PRESENT CITY LIMIT LINE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00 FOR EACH VIOLATION HEREOF; REPEALING ALL ORDI- NANCES OR P4RTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1812 be, and the same is hereby amended as follows: It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or drive any motor or other vehicle at a rate of speed in excess of that speci.» fied for the following street and portions thereof: (a) On FarmAto-Market Road I507, beginning at the West Boundary Line of State Highway 24, in the South portion of Paris; Thence East a distance of 0.233 miles, a speed limit of thirty-five (35) miles per hour; Thence East a distance of 0.490 miles, a speed limit of forty-five (45) miles per hour; Thence East a distance of 2.481 mil.es, which distance terminates at the present City Limit Line, just East of Highway Loop 286, a speed limit of fifty (50) miles per hour. All of the above distances are fully described in the draft of said Highway 1507, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes. Section 2, L3ny person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon con- viction shall be punished by a fine not exceeding 1;yo Hundred ($200.00) Dollars. Sectiun 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on and af ter publication as required by the Charter of the City of Paris. Passed and adopted this 14th day of August, A.
