ORDINANCE NO. 1845 .
<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABI„ISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF
<br />SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT ON A TRACT OF LAND BE-
<br />LONG TC7 A. W. SKEEN, JR,, ON THE EAST SIDE OF 13TH STREET, N. W.,
<br />AND NORTH OF WEST CHERRY STREET, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY
<br />FORMERLY DESIGNATEfl AS A SF-2 DISTRICT; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDA-
<br />RIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED,
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
<br />Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
<br />Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are
<br />hereby changed, and that a Commercial District, be, and the same is
<br />hereby established on a tract of land bebnging to A. W. Skeen, Jr.,
<br />on the East Side of 13th Street, N. W., and North of West Cherry
<br />Street, so as to include in such Commercial District the hereinafter
<br />described property, which was formerly and is presently designated
<br />as a SF.-2 District, and that the boundaries of said Commercial Dis•.
<br />trict, be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
<br />Beginning at a point in the E. B. L.ine of 13th Street, N.W,,
<br />the S. W. corner of the A. W. Skeen, Jr. property in City
<br />Block 84; Thence East approximately 420 feet, the W. B. Line
<br />of the G.C. & S.F. Ry. right of way; Thence Northerly with
<br />said right of way W. B. L,ine approximately 350 feet, the
<br />N. E. corner of said Skeen property; Thence West approxi.-
<br />mately 420 f eet to the said E. B. Line of 13th Street, N.W,;
<br />Thence South with said E. B. Line approximately 420 feet to
<br />the place of beginning.
<br />Section 2, That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and
<br />he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris,
<br />in accordance with the provision.s of Qrdinance No, 1710 and the land
<br />use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions
<br />of this ordinance.
<br />Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
<br />herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
<br />Section 4, This ordinance shall become effective immediately
<br />upon passage.
<br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Faris in
<br />regulax session cnnvened at Council Chambers on this the llth day
<br />of December, A. D., 1967.
