ORDINANCE. NO. 1858 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1854, PASSED SY THE CITY <br />COUNCIL ON FEBRUARY 12, 1968,.ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE SETTING MINI~ <br />MUM STANDARDS FOR COMMERCIAL AERONAUTICAL ACTIVITIES ON COX FIELD, <br />DEFINING TERMS USED THEREIN, AND ESTABLISHING THE POLICY UF THE <br />CITY OF PEIRIS IN REGARD TO AERONAUTICAL ACTIVITIES TO BE CONDUCTED <br />ON COX FIELD," BY ADDING TO SECTION 1 OF SAID_ORDINANCE CERTAIN <br />ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS, DESIGNATED AS SUB..SECTIONS i AND j; PROVID- <br />ING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCFS OR PARTS OF <br />ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREtnfITH, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />Section l. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1854, passed by the <br />City Council on February 12, 1968, entitled "An ordinance setting <br />minimum standards for commercia:l aeronautical activities on Cox <br />Field, defining terms used therein, and establ.ishing the policy of <br />the City of Paris in regard to aeronaut.ical activities to be con- <br />ducted on Cox Field," be, and the same is hereby amended by adding <br />thereto, the following additional provisions, designated as Sub•• <br />Sections i and j, to-wit: <br />i. RESERVATIONS. <br />l. The City of Paris reserves the right to further <br />develop or improve the landing area of the airport <br />as it sees fit, regardless of the desires or views <br />of the Operator, and without inte.rference or hin.. <br />drance. <br />2. The City of Paris reserves the right, but shall not <br />be obligated to the Operator, to maintain and keep <br />in repair the landi.ng area of the airport and all <br />publicly••owned facilities of the airport, together <br />wi.th the right to direct and control all activities <br />of the Operator .in this regard, <br />3. During time of war or national emergency the City <br />of Paris shall have the right to lease the landing <br />area or any part thereof to the United States <br />Government for military or naval use, and, if any <br />such lease is executed, the provisions of this in. <br />strument insofar as they are .inconsistent with the <br />provisions of the lease to the Government shall be <br />suspended. <br />This lease shall be subordinate to the pro visions <br />of any existing or future agreement between the <br />City of Paris and the United States, relative to <br />the operation and maintenance of the airport, <br />j, A,ERONAUTICAL SERVICES SALE OF AERONAUTICAL :PARTS <br />TERIALS, DR SUPPLIES, Operator must, in its opera» <br />tions on the airport under which aeronautical services <br />are furnished the public., including the sale of any <br />aeronautical parts, materials, or supplies: <br />l. furnish said service on a fair, equal, and not <br />unjustly discriminatory bas.is to all users thereof, <br />and <br />2. charge fair, reasonable, and not <br />criminatory prices for each unit <br />vided, That the contractor may b <br />reasonable and nondiscriminatory <br />bates, or other similar types of <br />to volume purchasers. <br />unjustly dis«• <br />or service; :Pro» <br />e allowed to make <br />discounts, re- <br />price reductions <br />
