ORDINANCE. NO. 1858 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1854, PASSED SY THE CITY COUNCIL ON FEBRUARY 12, 1968,.ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE SETTING MINI~ MUM STANDARDS FOR COMMERCIAL AERONAUTICAL ACTIVITIES ON COX FIELD, DEFINING TERMS USED THEREIN, AND ESTABLISHING THE POLICY UF THE CITY OF PEIRIS IN REGARD TO AERONAUTICAL ACTIVITIES TO BE CONDUCTED ON COX FIELD," BY ADDING TO SECTION 1 OF SAID_ORDINANCE CERTAIN ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS, DESIGNATED AS SUB..SECTIONS i AND j; PROVID- ING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCFS OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREtnfITH, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1854, passed by the City Council on February 12, 1968, entitled "An ordinance setting minimum standards for commercia:l aeronautical activities on Cox Field, defining terms used therein, and establ.ishing the policy of the City of Paris in regard to aeronaut.ical activities to be con- ducted on Cox Field," be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto, the following additional provisions, designated as Sub•• Sections i and j, to-wit: i. RESERVATIONS. l. The City of Paris reserves the right to further develop or improve the landing area of the airport as it sees fit, regardless of the desires or views of the Operator, and without inte.rference or hin.. drance. 2. The City of Paris reserves the right, but shall not be obligated to the Operator, to maintain and keep in repair the landi.ng area of the airport and all publicly••owned facilities of the airport, together wi.th the right to direct and control all activities of the Operator .in this regard, 3. During time of war or national emergency the City of Paris shall have the right to lease the landing area or any part thereof to the United States Government for military or naval use, and, if any such lease is executed, the provisions of this in. strument insofar as they are .inconsistent with the provisions of the lease to the Government shall be suspended. This lease shall be subordinate to the pro visions of any existing or future agreement between the City of Paris and the United States, relative to the operation and maintenance of the airport, j, A,ERONAUTICAL SERVICES SALE OF AERONAUTICAL :PARTS TERIALS, DR SUPPLIES, Operator must, in its opera» tions on the airport under which aeronautical services are furnished the public., including the sale of any aeronautical parts, materials, or supplies: l. furnish said service on a fair, equal, and not unjustly discriminatory bas.is to all users thereof, and 2. charge fair, reasonable, and not criminatory prices for each unit vided, That the contractor may b reasonable and nondiscriminatory bates, or other similar types of to volume purchasers. unjustly dis«• or service; :Pro» e allowed to make discounts, re- price reductions
