ORDINANCE NO. 18_ 9 . AN ORDINANCE CL0.SING THE ALLEY SHOWN IN THE PLAT OF COLLEGE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PARIS, LYING ADJACENT TO THE SOUTHERN BOUNDARY LINE OF LOTS 1 THRLJ 10 OF BLOCK C AND LOTS 1 AND 2 OF BLOCK D OF SAID ADDITION, BEING ADJACENT TO THE SQUTHERN BOUNDARY OF SAID ADDITION,, AS RECORDED IN BOOK 80, PAGE 477, OF THE DEED RECORDS OF LAMAR COUNTY~ TEXAS, AND DECLARING NO NECESSITY OR NEED OF SAID ALLEY FOR CITY USE, A1VD PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF AUGUST 12, 1968. WHEREAS, it has been bxought to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris that an alley 20 feet in width, as shown in the Plat of College Addition to Faris, Texas, recorded in Book 80, Page 477, of the Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas, lying adjacent to the Southern Boundary Line of Lots 1 thru 10 of Block C and Lots 1 and 2 of Block D of said Addi tion, and being the most Southern 20 feet o.f said Addition, running from 25th Street, S. W., in an Easterly direction appxoximately 1289 feet to its deadend, and as shown in said plat, has never been used as an alley and is of no use as an alley to the City of Paris or its citizens, and the Council so finds; NOW, THEREFOREo BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS : Section l. That the alley 20 feet in width, as shown in the plat of College Addition to Paris, Texas, which is recorded in Book 80, Page 477, of the Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas, an d being adjacent to the Southern Boundary Line of Lots 1 thru 10 of Block C and Lots 1 and 2 of Block D of said Addition, and being adjacent to the Southern Boundary Line of said Additio n, is hereby closed.
