ORDINANCE NO. 1887 . <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING CJRDINANCE Na, 1710 OF THE <br />CITY OF:PARIS, PARIS, TEXA,S, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA.RIES ES« <br />TABLISHED BY THE ZQNING MAP OF SA.ID CITY; ESTABLISHING A LIGHT <br />INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT ON A TR,A.CT OF LAND FRONTING 128.FEET ON THE <br />TEXAS & NEW ORLF..ANS RA.ILROAD~ BEING 240_FEET.DEEP, AND FRONTING <br />239 FEET ON THE NORTH BOUNDARY LINE OF WEST AUSTIN STREET, BEING <br />LOT 5, BLOCK 129A OF THE CITY OF.PARISi ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO <br />NORTH STAR REALTY CQMPANY,.SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A MULTIFLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1 <br />(MF«.1) ; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUIVBARIES OF THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL <br />DIS.TRICT SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />P ARIS, TEXAS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by <br />the Zoning Map and Ordinance :lVo. 1710 of the City of Paris, <br />Faris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a <br />Light Industrial District, be, and the same is hereby established <br />on a tract of land fronting 128 feet on the Texas & New Orleans <br />Railroad, being 240 f'eet deep, and fronting 239 feet on the North <br />Boundary Line of West A.ustin Street, being I.ot 5, Block 129A of <br />the City of Paris, on property belonging to North Star Realty <br />Company, so as to include in such Light Industrial District the <br />hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is pre«• <br />sently designated as a Multiple Family Dwelling District No. 1 <br />(MF-l), and that the boundaries of the said Light Industrial <br />District, be, and the same are hereby established as follows: <br />Being all that certain tract ox parcel of land, a <br />pat of the Asa Jarman Survey in Faris, City Block No. <br />129A, I.amar County, Texas, and being the same tract <br />conveyed by Joe Franklin Myers to the Paris News <br />Building, a Corporation, by Warranty Deed dated July <br />18, 1950 and recorded in Volo 314, page 519 of the <br />Lamar County Deed R'ecords, and described by metes and <br />bounds as follows: <br />BEGINNING at the S.E. Corner of a lot conveyed by <br />W.H.P. Anderson to F. E. Hutchings by deed dated <br />A <br />fence corner. <br />THENCE South <br />beginning. <br />ugust 1, 1919, recorded in Deed Book 1781 Fage 4361 <br />Lamar County Records. <br />THENCE West with the NB line of' LVest Austin Street <br />239 feet a stake in the NB line of said street arri the <br />EB line of the T. & N.O. RR R.O.W. <br />THENCE North 128 feet with EB line of the said <br />T. & N.O. RR R.O.W. a fence corner. <br />THENCE North 85° 57' E with a fence 240 f eet a <br />145 feet with a fence to the place of <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of P'aris, be, <br />and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of <br />Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinarre No. 1710 and <br />the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br />provisions of this ordinance. <br />Section 3. A.11 ordinances and parts of ordinances in con.. <br />flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 4. This ordinance shall become ef'fective immediately <br />upon passage. <br />
