ORDINANCE N0. 1895 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHA.NGING THE BOUNDARIES ES- <br />TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT ON A TR.A.CT OF LAND FRONTING 327 FEET ON <br />AND ADJACENT TO THE SOUTH BOUNDARY LINE OF U. S. HIGHWAY 82. <br />AND FRONTING 1456 FEET ON S. W. LOOP 286, AND BEING LOT 1 IN <br />BLOCK N0. 329 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO <br />WOLENS, ERWIN AND BEASLEY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT; AND DESIG- <br />NATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established <br />by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, <br />Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a <br />Commercial District, be, and the same is hereby established on <br />a tract of land fronting 327 feet on and adjacent to the South <br />Boundary Line of U. S. Highway 82 and fronting 1456 feet on <br />S. W. Loop 286, and being Lot 'I in Block No. 329 of the City of <br />Paris, on property belonging to Wolens, Erwin and Beasley, so <br />as to include in such Commercial District the hereinafter de- <br />scribed property, which was f'ormerly and is presently desig- <br />nated as an Agricultural District, and that the boundaries of <br />the said Commercial District, be, and the same are hereby es- <br />tablished as follows: <br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br />Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a p art of the <br />Isaac Cruise Survey, and being a part of a 834 acre tract <br />of land conveyed H. P. Mayer by Union Investment Co. by <br />deed recorded in Vol. 1L.4, Page 508, of the Deed Records <br />of said County and State. <br />Beginning at a concrete marker for corner at the <br />intersection of the South Boundary Line of Bon.ham St. <br />with the West Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286. <br />Thence North 89 Deg. 30 Min. West along the South <br />Boundary Line of Bonham St. a distance of 327 ft. to a <br />stake for corner, said point being the Northeast corner <br />of a tract of land conveyed V. D. McGee by deed recorded <br />in Vol. 392, Page 104, of said Deed Records; <br />Thence South 0 Deg. 30 Min. West a distance of 280 <br />ft. to a stake for corner at the Southeast corner of <br />said McGee tract of land; <br />Thence North 89 Deg. 30 Min. West a distance of 115 <br />ft. to a stake for corner at the Southwest corner of <br />said McGee tract of land,said point being in the East <br />Boundary Line of a tract of land conveyed the State of <br />Texas for road purposes as recorded in Vol. 245, Page <br />349, of the Deed Records of said County and State; <br />Thence South 0 Deg. 30 Min. West a distance of 15 <br />ft. to a stake for corner at the Southeast corner of <br />said State of Texas tract of land; <br />Thence North 89 Deg. 30 Min. West a distance of <br />240 ft. to a stake for corner in the East Boundary <br />Line of 41st S.W., said point being the Southwest <br />corner of said State of Texas tract of land; <br />Thence South 0 Deg. 45 Min. West along the East <br />Boundary Line of 41 st S.W. a distance of 393 ft. to a <br />stake for corner, said point being the Northwest corner <br />of a tract of land now owned by Crumley; <br />Thence South 89 Deg. 30 Min. East a distance of 520 <br />ft. to an iron pin for corner, said point being the <br />Northeast corner of a tract of land now owned by Warren <br />Bills; <br />
