ORDINANCE N0. 1896 AN ORDTNANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXA.S, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ES- TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AND TRAILER PARK (S) ON A TRACT OF LAND FRONTING 230 FEET ON N. E. LOOP 286, BEING APPROXIMATELY 400 FEET DEEP, AND FRONTING 228 FEET ON SPUR 139, ON PROPERTY BE- LONGING TO JOHN JOHNSON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT; AND DESIG- NATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AND TRAILER PARK (S) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the bou.ndaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Light Industrial District and Trailer Park (S), be, and the same is hereby established on a tract of land fronting 230 feet on N. E. Loop 286, being approximately 400 feet deep, and front- ing 228 feet on Spur 139, on property belonging to John Johnson, so as to include in such Light Industrial District and Trailer Park (S) the hereinafter described property, which was f ormerly and is presently designated as an Agricultural District, and that the boundaries of the said Light Industrial District and Trailer Park (S), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Reddin Russell Survey, and being a part of a'19.996 acre tract of land conveyed Russell A. Gifford and Herman M. Hindman by deed recorded in Vol. 364, Page 503, of the Deed Records of said County and State. Beginning at a stake f'or corner in the North Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286 in the center of a ditch at the Southeast corner of a tract of land con- veyed the American Petrofina Co. by deed recorded in Vol. 431, Page 73, of said Deed Records, said point also being 361.7 ft. Southeasterly f'rom the Southwest corner of said 19.996 acre tract of land, as measured along the North Boundary Line of said Loop Highway 286. Thence North 30 Deg. 20 Min. East a distance of 213 ft. to a stake in said ditch; Thence North 5 Deg. 24 Min. East a distance of 139 ft. to a stake in the center of said ditch at the North- east corner of said American Petrofina Co. tract; Thence along the South Boundary Line of Spur Highway 139 as follows: East a di stance of 125 ft.; North 76 Deg. East a distance of 103 ft. to a stake for corner; 'I`h.ence South a distance of 190 ft. to a stake for corner; Thence South 29 Deg. 15 Min. West a distance of 304 ft. to a stake for corner in the North Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286; Thence Northwesterly along the North Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286 a distance of 230 ft. tothe place of beginning and containing 2.18 acres of land. Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
