ORDINANGE NO. 1706, AN QRDINANCE APPROVING CERTAIN RATE SCHEDULE5 FILED BY TEXAS POWER & LIGHT COMP.ANY IN THE CITY QF PARIS, TEX.AS, AND PROVIDING FOR GONDITIONS UNDER WHICH SUCH RATE SGHEDULES MAY BE CHANGED, MODIFIED, AMENDED OR WITHDRAWN. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PA..R,IS, TEXAS : Section 1. That Texas Power & Light Gompany, having filed on the bth day of January, 1965 its Rate Book No. C»65p120, containing a set of electric rate schedules and the service regulations referred to therein, with the City Clerk, the same are hereby approved as schedules of rates and ser» vice regulations under which said Company is authorized to collect charges from its customers for the sale of electric power and energy within the cor« porate limits of the City of Paris until such time as said rate schedules and service regulations may be changed, modified, amended or withdrawn with the approval of the City Gouncil. Section 2. The filing of the rate schedules and service regulations and the approval of the same by the City Council, in the manner herein prod vided, shall constitute notice to the consumers of electricity, within the City, of the availability and application of such rate schedules and service regula» tions. 5ection 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
