ORDINANCE NO. 1707 , <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE <br />ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A"G" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT <br />ON A TRACT OF LAND 10 FEET WIDE AND 40 FEET LONG, ON THE NORTH <br />SIDE OF LOOP 286, NORTH WEST OF THE PINE MILL ROAD AND SOUTH <br />EAST OF THE OOLF CLUB ROAD, ON PROPER"TY BELONGING TO DR. J. W. <br />McCOY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED <br />AS A RESIDENTIAI., DISTRICT; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br />"G" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />TEXAS : <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by <br />the Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the <br />same are hereby changecl, and that a"G" Commercial District, be, <br />and the same is hereby established on a tract of land 10 feet <br />wide and 40 fe2t long, on the North Side of Loop 286, North West <br />of the °ine Mill Road and South East of the Golf Club Road, on <br />p.roperty belonging to Dr. J. W. McCoy, so as to include in such <br />"G„ Commercial District the hereinafter described property, which <br />was formerly and is presently designated as a Residential District, <br />and that the boundaries of said 11G" Commercial District, be, and <br />the same are hereby established as follows: <br />A triangular tract of land located between the 271 Drive <br />In Cafe and the Golf Club Road, approximately 300 feet <br />N.W. of the first county road N.W. of the 271 Drive In <br />Cafe, belonging to Dr. J.W. McCoy and leased to Oyler <br />Sign Company for a Holiday Inn Sign. The portion of <br />said tract sought to be zoned is a strip 10 fee-t wide <br />and 40 feet long, extending from the North East to the <br />South West. Being Lot 6 in City Block 218. <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, <br />and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of <br />Paris, in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1409, <br />as amended, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordi- <br />nance. <br />Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con- <br />flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 4.
