ORDINANCE NO. 1708 . <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE <br />ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A"G" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT <br />ON A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED EAST OF HIGHWAY 271 AND NORTH OF <br />HIGI-IWAY LOOP 286, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO CLYDE FRY, SO AS TO <br />INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A RESIDENTIAL <br />DISTRICT; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE "G" COMMERCIAL <br />DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br />Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by <br />the Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the <br />same are hereby changed, an d that a"G" Commercial District, be, <br />and the same is hereby established on a tract of land l~cated <br />East of Highway 271 and North of Highway Loop 286, on property <br />belonging to Clyde Fry, so as to include in such "G" Commercial <br />District the hereinafter described property, which was formerly <br />and is presently designated as a Residential Districta and that <br />the boundaries of said T1G" Commercial District, be, and the same <br />are hereby established as follows: <br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, <br />County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Reddin <br />Russell Survey, and being a part of a 90.826 acre tract of <br />land conveyed the KRSS Corp., as recorded in Vol. 408, Page <br />334, of the Deed Records of said County and State. <br />Beginning at an iron pin for corner in the East Boundary <br />Line of U.S. Hwy. 271a said point being the Northwest corner <br />of a 2.503 acre tract of land conveyed the Gulf Oil Corp, by <br />KRSS Corp., as recorded in Vol. 412, Page 158, of said Deed <br />Records. <br />Thence North 0 Deg.44 Min. East a distance of 100 ft, to a <br />stake for corner; <br />Thence North 0 Deg. 30 Min. East a distance of 100 ft, to <br />a stake for corner; <br />Thence North 1 Deg. 02 Min. West a distance of 100 ft, to <br />a stake for corner; <br />Thence North 2 Deg. 29 Min. West a distance of 94.2 r't, to <br />a concrete marker for corner; <br />Thence North 3 Deg. 08 Min. West alongthe East Boundary <br />Line of U.S. Hwy. 271, a distance of 135.8 f't, to an iron <br />pin for corner in the West Boundary Line of said 90.826 <br />acre tract; <br />Thence South 60 Deg. 24 Min. East a distance of 1148 ft. <br />to an iron pin for corner; <br />Thence South 17 Deg. 37 Min. West a distance of 400 ft. <br />to a concrete marker for corner in the North Boundary Line <br />of Loop Hwy. 286, also being a point in the South Boundary <br />Line of said 90.826 acre tract° <br />Thence North 74 Deg. 06 Min. West along the North Boundary <br />Line of Loop Hwy. 286, a distance of 211.2 ft, to a stake <br />for corner; <br />Thence North 89 Deg. 04 Min. West along said Hwy. a dis- <br />tance of 335.9 ft. to an iron pin for corner, said point <br />being the Southeast corner of said Gulf tract; <br />Thence North a distance of 265 ft. to another Gulf corner, <br />an iron pin; <br />Thence North 49 Deg. 39 Min. West a distance of 143.2 ft. <br />to an iron pin for corner, another corner of Gulf; <br />Thence Jouth 89 deg..l? Min. West a distance of 217.6 ft. <br />to the place of beginning and containing 10.836 acres of land. <br />
