ORDINANCE NO. 1716 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT ON A TRACT OF LAND ON LOOP 2861 ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DR. D. A. ENSEY, JR., SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, a nd the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District, be, and the same is hereby established on a tract of land on Loop 286 on property belong- ing to Dr. D. A. Ensey, Jr., so as to include in such Commercial Dis- trict the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an Agricultural District, and that the bounda- ries of said Commercial District, be, an d the same are hereby es- tablished as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach Surveya and being a part of a 6 acre tract of land conveyed L. Freeman, as recorded in Vol. 334, Page 58, of the Deed Records of said County and State. Beginning at a;concrete marker for corner in the Southwest Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286, said point being the present Southeast corner of said 6 acre tract. Thence North 89 Deg. 03 Min. West a distance of 609.6 ft. to a post for corner, said point being the Southwest corner of said 6 acre tract; Thence North 13 Deg. 44 Min. East a distance of 346.5 ft. to a post for corner, said point being the Northwest corner of said 6 acre trac4; Thence South 89 Deg. 53 Min. East a distance of 230 stake for corner in the Southwest Boundary Line of Loop 286; Thence South 42 Deg. 34 Min. East along said distance of 228 ft. to a stake for corner; Thence South 38 Deg. 45 Min. East along said distance of 228.6 ft. to the place of beginning 3.316 acres of land. ft. to a Highway Loop Highway a Loop Highway a and containing Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris, in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accUmpanying the seimea and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ord.inances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
