ORDINANCE NO. 1720 , AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT ON A TRACT OF Ll3ND LOCATED ON THE E.B. LINE OF 19TH STREET, N.W. AND THE S.B. LINE OF WEST CENTER STREET, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO RICHARD W. NAFEI SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (SF-3); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are hereby changeda and that a Light Industrial Districta bea and the same is hereby established on a tract of land located on the E.B. Line of 19th Streeta N.W. and the S.B. Line of West Center Street, on property belonging to Richar3 W. Nafea so as to include in such Light Industrial District the hereinafter described property, w.hich was formerly and ys presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling District (SF-3), and that the boundaries ofsaid. Light In3ustrial District bea and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated in the County of Lamar an3 State of Texas; A part of the Reddin Russell Survey within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, described by metes and bounds as follows in accordance with a survey made by R.G. Berrya Registered PubZic Surveyora o,:i June 17, 1963; BEGINNING at a concrete monument in the SB Line of Center Street at its approach to 19th Street N.W.a said 19th Street N.W. being a continuation of F.M. Road lVo. 79; THENCE South 46° 30' West, a stake in the EB Line of 19th Street N.W.; THENCE South with said EB line 1° West 250 feet a fence corner; THENCE South 89° East 634 feet; THENCE South 1° West 328 feet; THENCE South 89° 45' East 652 feet; THENCE North 0° 30' East 634 feet to the SB line of Center Street; THENCE with the SB line of said street North 89° 20' West 1231 feet to the place of beginning, containing 13.77 acres of land. Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris, in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map acco:npanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
