ORDINANCE v0. 1724 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ES'TABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT ON A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED BETWEEN 6TH STREET, N.W. AND 7T:H STREET, N.W., NORTH OF BONHAM STREET AND EXTENDING TO GRAHAM STREET, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO GOREE 8< OWENS, SO AS TJ INCLUDE THEREIN TF_RRITDRY FORMERLY DESIG NATED AS AS A TWO FAMILY DWE~=,LING DISTRICT; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Sectinn l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail District, bea and the same is hereby established on a tract of land located between 6th Street, N.W. and 7th Stre2t, N.W., North of Bonham Street and extending to Graham Street, on property belonging to Go'ree & Owens, so as to in- clude in such General Retail District the hereinafter described pro- perty, which was formerly and is presently designated as a Two Family Dw211ing District, and that the boundaries of said General Retail District, be, an d the same are hereby established as follows: Beginning at a point in the W.B. Line of 6th Street, N.W. imme3iately across the street from the South Boundary Line of West Houston Street; Thence West 357 feet, a stake in the E.B. Line of 7th Street, N.W.; Thence North 500 feet to the South Boundary Line of Graham Street; Thence Sazth and East 368 feet with the S.B. Line of Graham Stree-t to the W.B. Line of 6th Street, N.W.; Thence Soath 450 feet to the place of beginning. Being the property known as the Plaza Shopping Center. Se;.tion 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris, in accordance with the provisions of Or3inance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, an d in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
