ORDINANCE NO. 1725 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1406, THE TRAFFIC ORDINANCE, ARTICLE XXI, SECTION 2, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES IN DESIGNATED PLACES; FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Se;^tion 1. That Ordinance No. 1406, Article XXI, Section 2, "Parking Prohibited at all Times in Designated Places",be, and the same is hereby amended by prohibiting the parking of any motor ve- hicle or any kind of vehicle upon the following streets: (1) That "No Parking At Any Time" be, and the same is hereby establishe3 on both sides of Clarksville Street, from 4th Street, S.E. Eastward to the City Limit Line. (2) That "No Parking At Any Time" be, an d the sa.me is hereby established on both sides of Lamar Avenue, from 3rd Street S.E. and N.E. Eastwar3 to the City Limit Line. (3) That "No Parking At Any Time" be, and the same is hereby established on both sides of North Main Street, from the North Boundary Line of Pine Bluff Street North to the City Limit Line. (4) That "No Parking At Any Time" be, and the same is hereby established on both sides of Bonham Street, from 4th Street S.W. an3 N.W. West to the City Limit Line. (5) That "No Paricing At Any Time" be, an3 the same is hereby established on both sides of South Main Street, from the South Boundary Line of Sherman Street South to the North Boundary Line of Hearne Avenue. (6) That "No Parking At Any Time" be, and the same is hereby established on both sides of South Church Street, from the South Boundary Line of Hearne Avenue South to the City Limit Line. (7) That "No Parking At Any Time" be, an 3 the same is hereby established on both sides of Grand Avenue, from the W.B. Line of 4th Street, S.W. to the E.B. Line of 7th Street, S.W. Section 2. That all ordinances o.r parts o_f ordinances in con- flict herewith are hereby repealed. Se;^tion 3. That this ordinance shall become effective on the lst day of September, A.D., 1965. Section 4. That any perso.n, firm or corpo.ration who shall park or rank any motor vehicle or any kind of vehicle on any of the above prohibite3 "No Parrcing" areas shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in the amount of Three ($3.00) Dollars.
