N0~ <br />$ 5,000 <br />UNITED STATES OF AMERICA <br />I~ STATE OF 'FEXAS <br />, <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR <br />CITY OF PARIS <br />, <br />WATERWORKS AND SEWER SYSTEM JUNIOR LIEN <br />i. <br />REVENUE BOND <br />SERIES 1966 <br />On July 10, 19 , the City of Paris, in the County <br />of Lamar, State.of Texas, promises to pay to bearer the principal <br />amount of <br />FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS <br />and to pay interest thereon, from the date hereof, at the rate <br />of % per annum, evidenced by interest coupons payable <br />July 10, 1966, and semi-annually thereafter on each January 10 <br />and July 10 while this bond is outsLanding. The principal of thi; <br />bond and the interest coupons attached hereto shall be payable <br />to bearer, in lawful money of the United States of America, <br />without excnange or collection charges to the bearer, upon pre- <br />sentation and surrender of this bond or proper interest coupon, <br />at the First National Bank in Dallas, Dallas, Texas, which place <br />shall be the paying agent for this Series of bonds. <br />This bond is one of a Series of coupon bonds dated <br />January 10, 1966; issued in the principal amount of $2,300,000 <br />for the purpose of improving and extending the City`s Waterworks <br />System. <br />The City shall have the riglit and option to redeem <br />such bonds prior to their scheduled maturities, in whole, or <br />in part, at any time, upon thirty days notice, for the principal <br />amount thereof plus accrued interest to the date fixed for <br />redemption. <br />
