<br />AN ORDINANGE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANGE OF THE
<br />CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIE5 ESTAB-
<br />LISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING AN "E"
<br />COMMUNITY STORE DISTRICT 100 FEET NORTH OF THE EXTENSION
<br />OF THE SOUTH BQUNDARY LINE OF W EST HOUSTON STREFT, BETW EEN
<br />6TH STREET, N. W. AND 7TH STREET, N. W, , AND EXTENDING THE
<br />ZONING 130 FEET NORTH FRQM SUCH POINT, ON PROPERTY BELONGING
<br />TO FAYETTE REDDELL AND FLORENCE STEWART JQHNSON, SO AS TO
<br />Il\TCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DE5IGNATED AS A RESIDEN-
<br />TIAL DISTRICT; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE "E"
<br />GQMMUNITY STORE DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED,
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY QF
<br />PARIS, TEXAS:
<br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning
<br />Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are hereby
<br />changed, and that an "E" Community Store District, be, and the same is
<br />hereby established 100 feet North of the extension of the South Boundary
<br />Line of W est Houston Street, between 6th Street, N. W. and 7th Street, N. W. ,
<br />and extending the zoning 130 feet North from such point, on property belonging
<br />to Fayette Reddell and Florence Stewart Johnson, so as to include in such
<br />"E" Community Store District the hereinafter described territory, which was
<br />formerly and is presently designated as a Residential District, and that the
<br />boundaries of said "E" Community Store District, be, and the same are
<br />hereby established as follows:
<br />Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and
<br />being a part of t
<br />he Larkin Rattan Survey, and beginning at a
<br />poimt in the E. B.
<br />Line of a tract of land owned by Florence
<br />Stewart Johnson,
<br />on the W. B. Line of 6th Street, N. W. ,
<br />said point being what would be the intersection of the South
<br />Boundary Line of
<br />West Houston Street should it be extended
<br />W estward to said
<br />point, and being the North Boundary Line
<br />of a tract heretofore zoned "E" Community 5tore;
<br />Thence North with the W. B. Line of 6th Street, N. W. ,
<br />130 feet, a stake
<br />in the W. B. Line of 6th Street, N. W., and
<br />a tract belonging
<br />to Adeline Reddell;
<br />Thence West
<br />to the E. B. Line of 7th Street, N. W,;
<br />Thence South
<br />130 feet, a stake;
<br />Thence East
<br />with the N. B. Line of the Community Store
<br />area to the place
<br />of beginning.
<br />Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and he is
<br />hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
<br />with the provisions of Ordinance No, 1409, as amended, and in accordance
<br />with the provisions of this ordinance.
<br />Section 3. That all of the area described above, be, and the same is
<br />hereby placed in the First Fire District Limits of the City of Paris.
<br />Section 4. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
<br />herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
<br />5ection 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
<br />passage.
