ORDINANCE NO, 1661 , <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 1495 OF THE CJTY OF <br />pAR,I5, TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 1594, AMENDING ORDINANCE <br />NO. 1624, AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 1625, REGULATING 5PEED OF <br />MOTOR VEHICLES UPON CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />LAMAR COUNTYp TEXAS; PRESCRLBING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION <br />HEREOF; REPEALING ALL IDING FOR AN EFFOECOT E DATE5 IN <br />CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PRO <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL aF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />Section 1. That Ordinance No. 1495, Ordinance No. 1594, Ordinance No. <br />1624, and Ordinance No. 1625, be, and the same are hereby amended, by <br />designating herein speed limits over certain areas within the City Limits, on <br />the specified streets as follows: <br />(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or drive any motor <br />or other vehicle at a rate of speed in ex.cess of twenty (20) miles per hour, <br />on the following streets and portions of streets: <br />(1) On Blake Road between the West boundary line of 6th Street <br />North East, and the East boundary line of 8th Street North <br />Ea st. <br />5ection 2. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance shall be <br />guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not <br />exceeding Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars, <br />5ection 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith <br />are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on the lst day of <br />February, 1964. <br />Passed and adopted this 13th day of January, A.
