~ <br />ORDINANCE NO, 1665 <br />AN ORDINANGE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED <br />BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A"G" COMMERCIAL <br />DISTRICT ON THE NORTH SIDE OFFAR,M ROAD NO. 195, ACROS5 FROM <br />THL HILLCRE5T ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO W. T. - <br />MURPHY, 50 AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIG- <br />NATED AS A RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT; DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIE5 <br />OF THE "G" COMMERGIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning <br />Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are hereby <br />changed, and that a"G" Commercial District, be, and the same is hereby <br />established on the North Side of Farm Road No. 195, across from the <br />Hillcrest Addition, on property belonging to W. T. Murphy, so as to include <br />in such "G" Commercial District the hereinafter described property, which <br />was formerly and is presently designated as a Residential District, and that <br />the boundaries of said "G" Commercial District, be, and the same are <br />hereby established as follows: <br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, <br />County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Hiram <br />Williams and Reddin Russell Surveys, and being a part of a <br />10. 7 acre tract of land conveyed Selby Pierce by deed recorded <br />in Vol. 277, Page 486, of the Deed Records of said County and <br />State. <br />Beginning at an iron pin in the North Boundary Line of Farm <br />Road No. 195, said point being the Southeast corner of said 10.7 <br />acre tract; <br />Thence North 0 Deg. 30 Min. East along the East Boundary <br />Line of said 10. 7 acre tract a distance of 209.4 ft. to an iron <br />pin for corner; <br />Thence 5outh 50 Deg. 50 Min. West parallel to and 209.4 ft, <br />North of the North Boundary Line of said road, a distance of <br />104 ft. to an iron pin for corner; <br />Thence South 0 Deg. 30 Min, W est parallel to and 80 ft. - <br />West of the East Boundary Line of said 10.7 acre tract, a dis- <br />tance of 209.4 ft. to an iron pin for corner in the North Boundary <br />Line of Farm Road No. 195; <br />Thence North 50 Deg. 50 Min. East along the North <br />Boundary Line of said road, a distance of 104 ft. to the place of <br />beginn,ing and containing 0.50 acres of land. <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and he <br />is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris, in <br />accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1409, as amended, and <br />in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br />Section 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br />herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />5ection 4, This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon <br />passage. <br />
