ORDINANCE NO. 1670 . AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDYNANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING 'IEi E BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A"G', COMMERCIAL DISTRICT ON THE NORTH SIDE OF LAMAR AVENUE, IN THE 1500 BLOCK THEREOF, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DIMPLE CRAIN DAVISq SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A RESIDENTIAL DISTRTCT; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE "G" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1: That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a"G" Commercial District, be, and the same is hereby established on the North Side of Lamar Avenue, in the 1500 Block thereof, on property belonging to Dimple Crain Davis, so as to include in such "G" Commercial District the here- inafter described territory, which was formerly and is presently designated as a Residential District, and that the boundaries of said "G" Commercial District, be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated in Lamar County, Tex.as, and being a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey, Abstract No, 778, within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, in City Block 33, on the north side of Lamar Avenue, described as follows: BEGINNING at a stake on the North Side of Lamar Avenue, 168 feet W est of the NW intersection corner of Lamar Avenue with 16th Street SE, same being the SW corner of lot conveyed by R. G. Burcham et al to W. A. Lain. THENCE North with the WB line of said lot conveyed to W. A. Lain, 216 feet to the SB line of Houston Street; THENCE West with the SB line of Houston Street, 93 feet to the NE corner of lot conveyed to H. L. Hughes; THENCE South with the EB line of said Hughes lot, 216 feet to the NB line of Lamar Avenue; THENCE East wi.th the NB line ofLamar Avenue, 93 feet to the place of beginning. Being the property at 1545 Lamar Avenue, Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1409, as amended, and in accordance with the pro- visions of this ordinance. Section 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby ex.pressly repealed. 5ection 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
