ORDINANCE NO. 1684
<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1406, ARTICLE XXI,
<br />SECTION 4, METERED PARKING; SUBSECTION (c) 60 MINUTE METERED
<br />PARKING, BY DELETING THEREFROM, THREE PARKING METERS ABOUT
<br />MIDWAY OF THE BLOCK_, BETWEEN GRAND AVENUE AND WEST KAUFMAN
<br />STREET, ON 1ST STREET, S. W., BEING METER NOS, 5-142 5-152 AND
<br />5-16, ON THE WEST SIDE OF 1ST STREET.,, S. W., AND DELETING THERE-
<br />FROM TWO PARKING METERS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF WEST KAUFMAN
<br />STREET, ON EACH SIDE OF AN EXISTING LOADING ZONE, BEING METER
<br />NOS. 5-32 AND 5-34; AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 14069 ARTICLE
<br />XXI, SECTION 3(c), SUBSECTION (3), REMOVING THE LOADING ZONE
<br />FROM ITS PRESENT POSITION ON THE NORTH SIDE OF WEST KAUFMAN
<br />STREET, BETWEEN 1ST STREET., S. W. AND 2ND STREET, S. W, TO THE
<br />SPACE NOW OCCUPIED BY METER NO. 5-329 AND EXTENDING WEST TO A
<br />POINT FOUR FEET EAST OF THE PROPOSED RADIUS OF DRIVEWAY FOR
<br />THE LIBERTY NATIONAL BANK BUILDING DRIVE-IN BANK; REPEALING
<br />ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
<br />EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THECITY OF PARIS:
<br />Section l. That Ordinance No. 1406, Article XXI, Section 49 Metered
<br />Parking, 5ubsection (c), 60 Minute Metered Parking, be amended by deleting
<br />therefrom, three parking meters located on the WestEide of lst Street, S,W.,
<br />between Grand Avenue and W est Kaufman Street, about midway of the block,
<br />being Meter Spaces Nos. 5-14-v 5-15, and 5-16, on the plat of the meters of
<br />the City of Paris, and deleting therefrom, two parking meter spaces on the
<br />North Side of West Kaufman Streets between lst Streetv S. W. and 2nd 5treet,
<br />S. W. , being Meter Spaces Nos. 5-32 and 5-34, being the third and fourth
<br />meter spaces West of lst Street S. W.; also Meter No. $-3 the third meter
<br />space on the South Side of West tIouston St., between lst and 2nd Street.
<br />Section 2, That Ordinance No. 1406, Article XXI, Section 3(c),, Sub-
<br />section (3)9 Authorized Loading Zones, be amended by deleting therefrom,
<br />the Loading Zone between the third and fourth metered parking space West of
<br />1 st Street, S. W. , on W est Kaufman Street, and by adding thereto an area
<br />beginning at the West Boundary Line of the third metered parking space, which
<br />is Meter No. 5-32, and extending West to a point our feet East of the radius of
<br />driveway planned by The Liberty National Bank t Paris.
<br />Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
<br />hereby repealed.
<br />Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
<br />passage.
