ORDINANCE NO, 1688 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE CITY <br />OF PARISa TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br />THE ZONING MAP OF 5AID CITY; ESTABLISHING A"G" C4MMERCIAL <br />DISTRICT ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BONHAM STREET ON PROPERTY BE- <br />LQNGING TO R. E. HICKMANy SO AS TOINCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A RESID ENTIAL DISTRICT; DESIGNATING <br />THE BOUNDARIES OF THE "G" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED; <br />AND PLACING THE PROPERTY HEREIN INVOLVED IN THE FIRST FIRE <br />LIMITS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map <br />and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are hereby changed, and <br />that a"G" Commercial District, be, and the same is hereby established on the <br />North Side of Bonham Street, on property belonging to R. E. Hickman, so as to <br />include in such "G" Commercial District the hereinafter described property, <br />which was formerly and is presently designated as a Residential District, and <br />that the boundaries of said "G" Commercial District, be, and the same are <br />hereby established as follows: <br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of <br />Lamar9 and State of Texas, a part of the Isacc Cruise Survey, and being a <br />part of the property conveyed Ora Morris and husband H. E. Morris, as re- <br />corded in Vol. 352, Page 290, of the Deed Records of said County and State. <br />Beginning at the intersection of the North Boundary Line of Bcnham St., <br />with the East Boundary Line of Loop 286. <br />Thence South 89 Deg. 56 Min. East along the North Boundary Line of <br />Bonham St., a distance of 847. 5 ft, to a point; said point being 310 ft. West <br />of the West Boundary Line of N. W. 34th St. ; <br />Thence North a distance of 309 ft, to a point; <br />Thence West a distance of 955 ft. to a concrete marker in the East <br />Boundary Line of Loop Hwy. 286; <br />Thence South 0 Deg. 02 Min. West a distance of 200 ft, to a concrete <br />marker; <br />Thence South 40 Deg. 07 Min. East a distance of 158. 2 ft, to the place <br />of beginning and containing 6. 70 acres of land. <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be9 and he is <br />hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris9 in accordance <br />with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1409, as amended, and in accordance <br />with the provisions of this ordinance. <br />Section 3. That the above described property shall be and it is hereby <br />placed in the First Fire Limits of the City of Paris. <br />Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith <br />are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon <br />passage. <br />
