ORDINANCE NO, 1688 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARISa TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF 5AID CITY; ESTABLISHING A"G" C4MMERCIAL DISTRICT ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BONHAM STREET ON PROPERTY BE- LQNGING TO R. E. HICKMANy SO AS TOINCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A RESID ENTIAL DISTRICT; DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE "G" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED; AND PLACING THE PROPERTY HEREIN INVOLVED IN THE FIRST FIRE LIMITS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a"G" Commercial District, be, and the same is hereby established on the North Side of Bonham Street, on property belonging to R. E. Hickman, so as to include in such "G" Commercial District the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a Residential District, and that the boundaries of said "G" Commercial District, be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar9 and State of Texas, a part of the Isacc Cruise Survey, and being a part of the property conveyed Ora Morris and husband H. E. Morris, as re- corded in Vol. 352, Page 290, of the Deed Records of said County and State. Beginning at the intersection of the North Boundary Line of Bcnham St., with the East Boundary Line of Loop 286. Thence South 89 Deg. 56 Min. East along the North Boundary Line of Bonham St., a distance of 847. 5 ft, to a point; said point being 310 ft. West of the West Boundary Line of N. W. 34th St. ; Thence North a distance of 309 ft, to a point; Thence West a distance of 955 ft. to a concrete marker in the East Boundary Line of Loop Hwy. 286; Thence South 0 Deg. 02 Min. West a distance of 200 ft, to a concrete marker; Thence South 40 Deg. 07 Min. East a distance of 158. 2 ft, to the place of beginning and containing 6. 70 acres of land. Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be9 and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris9 in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1409, as amended, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. That the above described property shall be and it is hereby placed in the First Fire Limits of the City of Paris. Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
