ORDINANCE NO. 1696 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE <br />ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING AN "E" COMMUNITY STORE <br />DISTRICT ON TWO APPROXIMATELY 50 FOOT LOTS, NORTH OF THE SEARS & <br />ROEBUCK STORE LOT, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JAMES R. DUNCAN <br />AND J. D. BURK, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DE- <br />SIGNATED AS A RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 1122; DE- <br />SIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE "E" COMMUNITY STORE DISTRICT SO <br />ESTABLISHED; AND PLACING THE PROPERTIES HEREIN INVOLVED IN THE <br />FIRST FIRE LIMITS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITYOF PARI5: <br />Section 1, That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning <br />Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br />and that an "E" Community 5tore District, be, and the same is hereby established <br />on two approximately 50 foot lots, North of the Sears & Roebuck Store lot, on pro- <br />perty belonging to James R. Duncan and J. D. Burk, so as to include in such -"E" <br />Community Store District, the hereinafter described territory, which was for- <br />merly and is presently designated as a Residential District under Ordinance No. <br />1122, and that the boundaries of said "E" Community Store District, be, and the <br />same are hereby established as follows: <br />All that certain tract or parcel of land situated in the County <br />of Lamar9 State of Texas, a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey9 within <br />the corporate limits of the Cityof Paris, Texas, being a part of a <br />tract of land described in deed from Joseph Lee Helber to Ben <br />Marable, recorded in Book 331, Page 465, Deed Records, Lamar <br />County, Tex.as, and described by metes and bounds as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a stake on the NS line of said Helber -MaQa ble <br />tract at the SE corner of a tract of land described in deed to Blake K. <br />Lee and wife, Wilma Lee, recorded in Book 190, Page 185, Deed <br />Records9 Lamar County, Texas; <br />THENCE West along the NB line of said Helber-Marable <br />tract and the SB line of the said Lee Tract 60 feet to the SW corner <br />of the Lee tract; <br />THENCE South 49 feet along the WB line of the Helber- <br />Marable tract to the most western SW corner of the Helber-Marable <br />tr act; <br />THENCE East 60 feet to an ell corner of the Helber- <br />Marable tract; <br />THENCE North 49 feet to the place of beginning. <br />Situated in Lamar County, Texas, and being described <br />as a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey, a part of Block 103 on the <br />South side of Lamar Avenue; <br />BEGINNING at the SE corner of the lot deeded to John S. <br />Baker, et u.x, by H. D. McDonald, on December 28, 1912, deed of <br />record in Book 143, page 380, Lamar County Deed Recordsy the <br />same being the S, W, corner of a lot now owned by Ben Marable; <br />THENCE West 69 feet; <br />THENCE North 48 feet; <br />THENCE East 69 feet; <br />THENCE South 48 feet to the place of beginning. <br />
