ORDIlVANCE NO, 1202, ESTABLISHING RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR PLUMBERS IN THE SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT WITHIN THE CITY OF PARiS, TEXAS, AND AREA OF POLICE JURYSDICTION THEREOF; PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, REGULATION, MAINTENANCE, IlVSPECTION, AND OPERATION OF NIETHOD5 OF WASTE DISPOSAL; ESTABLISHING RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE GOVERNXNG OF PLUMBER.S AND PLUMBING; AND PROVIDING FOR THE VIOLATZON OF SAID ORDZIVANCE OR ANY SEC TION THEREOF, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PAR.IS: Section 1. The sanitary district shall include all areas now in a sanitary sevver distri ct, and all areas hereafter declared in such district by ordinance. Sectio 2, After expiration of 30 days after due notice has been given that sewer system is ready for use, it shall be unlawful for any person or persons owning, renting, leasing or controlling, in whole or in part, any premises situated within the sanitary sewer district to construct, use, maintain, or permit to be constructed, used or maintained on such pre- mises, any privy, cesspool, water closet, urinal, basin, slop sink, slop drain, bath tuby or water waste drain from laundry, or livery stable, or - any other receptacle whatever used or to be used for the purpose of re.. ceiving or removing sewerage matter, or slop of any kind, unless the same shall be connected with the sanitary sewer system of the City of Paris. Section 3. All privies and closets that may be on any premises within the sanitary sewer district shall be removed or abated within 30 days after the giving of said notice that the sewer system is ready for service. Section 4. All of the following acts shall be unlawful; (a) To uncover the public sewer or branches thereof, unless by consent and under the superviaion of the City Plumbing Inspector„ {b} For the Owner or occupant of any building any part of which is within the sanitary sewer district any portion of which is used for any purpose any portion of the day, to fail to have at least one water closet connection with the public sewer within 30 days after giving said notice that the sewer is ready for such connection, except in cases where two or rnore buildings are used or operated by one person, firm or corporation, and require but one connection. (c) For the owner or occupant of any building in any part of the sanitary sewer district, in which food is cooked or clothing is washed to fail to have a suitable sink, slop sink or hopper for the reception of water and connect same with the sewer system.o (d) To throw or allow to be thrown or deposited upon the surface of the ground9 or in any hole or vault in or under the surface of the ground in the sanitary sewer district, except in the proper and necessary manuring of the soil, any water which has been used for domestic or ma,nufacturing purposes, or any liquid or any solid filthy faeces or urine.
