ORDINANCE NOo 1518 , ~..-------.-r- AN OR.DINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 1271 PASSED OCTOBER 13, 1952, FIXING AND DETERMINIlNG RATES AND CHARGES TO BE CHARGED FOR SALES OF NATURAL GAS TO RESII?ENTTAL AND COMMERCIAL CONSUMERS WITHIlV THE CITY LIMITS OF PARIS, LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER IN WHICH SUCH RATE5 AND GHARGES MAY BE CHANGED AND AMENDED, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: 5ection 1. Effective with the first gas bills rendered after the date of passage and approval of this ordinance, the rates and charges for sales of natural gas and natural gas service rendered to the residential and commercial consumers within the City Limits of Paris, Texas, by Lone Sta.r Gas Company, a Texas corporation, its successors and assigns, are hereby fixed and determined as follows; Minimum Monthly Bill . . . . o . $ .50 Readiness to Serve Cha.rge o. o .50 per month All gas at $.8433 gross per MCF; $0 759 net per MCF. Net rate shall apply to all bills paid within ten (10) days from rnonthly billing date. This ordinance does not regula.te any rate or cha.rge except those specifically set out hereinabove. The above rate is applicable to each residential and commercial consumer per month or for any part of a month for which gas is used at the same location. Section 2. The rate set forth in Section 1 may be cha,nged and amended by either the City or Gom.pany furnish.ing gas in the manner provided by law. Service hereunder is subject to the ordera of regulatory bodies having jurisdiction, and to the Companyxs rules and regulations currently on file in the Company4s office.
