ORDINANC E NO. 1519 . <br />AN ORI?IIVANCE AMENDIlVG THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF <br />THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br />ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING <br />A"G" COMMERCI.AL DISTRICT ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF LAMAR <br />AVENUE, IN THE 2500 BLOCK THEREOF, ON PROPERTY BELONGING <br />TO NATHAN BELL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORM- <br />ERLY DESIGNATED AS A RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT; AND DESIGNATING <br />THE BOUNDARIES OF THE "G" COMMERCLAL DISTRICT SO ESTAB- <br />L ISHE D. <br />PARIS: <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br />Zoning Ma,p and ordinances of the City of Paris be, and the same are <br />hereby changed, and that a"G" Commercial District be, and the same <br />is hereby established on a lot belonging to Nathan Bell, which lot is <br />described as follows: <br />All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land, lying and <br />being situated in the County of Lamar, Sta.te of Texas, <br />more particularly described as follows, to-wit: <br />Being a part of the G. W. Cox Survey, and being part <br />of Lots 4, 5, 6 and 7 in Plat C of the J. C. Record <br />Estate, and being the same two parcels of land sold <br />by J. R. Givens to S. H. Hancock by deed dated May 8, <br />1913, and November 7, 1914, recorded in Books 148, <br />Page 21 and 153, Page 358, Lamar County Deed <br />Records; described by metes and bounds as follows: <br />Beginning at a stake on the South boundary line of <br />Lamar Avenue, on the East boundary line of the tract <br />deeded J. R. Givens by T. Mullins; <br />Thence South 326 feet; <br />Thence West 125 feet; <br />Thence North 326 feet to a sta.ke in the South Boundary <br />Line of Lamar Avenue, which is the Northwest corner <br />of the last tract deeded Hancock by Givens; <br />Thence East with the South boundary line of said road <br />125 feet to theplace of beginning. <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris be, <br />and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of <br />Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance Noo 1409, as <br />amended, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br />Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br />herewith are hereby expressly repealedo <br />Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately <br />upon passage. <br />
