AN ORI?IIVANCE AMENDIlVG THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A"G" COMMERCI.AL DISTRICT ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF LAMAR AVENUE, IN THE 2500 BLOCK THEREOF, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO NATHAN BELL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORM- ERLY DESIGNATED AS A RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE "G" COMMERCLAL DISTRICT SO ESTAB- L ISHE D. PARIS: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Ma,p and ordinances of the City of Paris be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a"G" Commercial District be, and the same is hereby established on a lot belonging to Nathan Bell, which lot is described as follows: All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated in the County of Lamar, Sta.te of Texas, more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Being a part of the G. W. Cox Survey, and being part of Lots 4, 5, 6 and 7 in Plat C of the J. C. Record Estate, and being the same two parcels of land sold by J. R. Givens to S. H. Hancock by deed dated May 8, 1913, and November 7, 1914, recorded in Books 148, Page 21 and 153, Page 358, Lamar County Deed Records; described by metes and bounds as follows: Beginning at a stake on the South boundary line of Lamar Avenue, on the East boundary line of the tract deeded J. R. Givens by T. Mullins; Thence South 326 feet; Thence West 125 feet; Thence North 326 feet to a sta.ke in the South Boundary Line of Lamar Avenue, which is the Northwest corner of the last tract deeded Hancock by Givens; Thence East with the South boundary line of said road 125 feet to theplace of beginning. Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance Noo 1409, as amended, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealedo Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
