ORDIN?iNCE NO. 1538 . <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY <br />aF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br />THE ZONING MpiP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING AN "E" COMMUNITY <br />STORE DISTRICT ON THE SOUTH SII?E OF CLARKSVILLE STREET, AT <br />THE SOUTH EAST INTERSECTION OF CLARKSVILLE STREET AND 12TH: <br />STREET, S. E., ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO J. E. CROWLEY, SO AS TO <br />INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A RESIDENTIAL <br />DISTRICT; DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE "E" COMMUNITY <br />STORE DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED; AND PLACING THE PROPERTY HEREIN <br />INVOLVED IN THE FIRST FIR.E LIMITS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning <br />Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris be, and the same are hereby <br />changed, and that an rrErr Community Store District be, and the same is <br />hereby established on the South Side of Clarksville Street, at the South East <br />intersection of Clarksville Street and 12th Street, S. E., on property belong- <br />ing to J. E. Crowley, so as to include in such "E" Community Store District <br />the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently de- <br />signated as a Residential District, and that the boundaries of said irEtr <br />Community Store District be, and the same are hereby established as <br />follow se <br />Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and described <br />as follows: <br />A part of the Larkin Ratta.n Survey within the corporate limits of <br />the City of Paris, and of City Assessment Block No. 112, de- <br />scribed by metes and bounds as follows: <br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the SB line of Clarksville <br />Street and the EB line of 12th Street S. E., formerly Webb Street; <br />THENCE with Clarksville Street South 66° East 122 feet, a stake <br />at the NW corner of the lot conveyed by Sam D. Johnson and wife <br />to Elizabeth Williams on January 29, 1940 by deed recorded in Book <br />256, Page 317, Lamar County Deed Records; <br />THENCE in a Southwesterly direction with the WB line of said <br />Johnson-Williams lot 135 feet, a stake; <br />THENCE North 77° 151 West 90.6 feet, a sta.ke in the EB line of <br />12th Street S. E. at the NW corner of the lot conveyed by S. D. <br />Johnson and wife to J. A. Miles on May 17, 1941, by deed recorded <br />in Book 260, Page 332, Lamar County Deed Records; <br />THENCE North with the EB line of 12th Street S. E. 166. 2 feet to <br />the place of beginning. <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris be, and he is <br />hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris, in accordance <br />with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1409, as amended, and in accordance <br />with the provisions of this ordinance. <br />Sectinn 3. That the above described property shall be and it is hereby <br />placed in the First Fire Limits of the City of Paris. <br />Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith <br />are hereby expressly repealed. <br />
