ORDINANGE NO. 1549 • AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONiNG ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID C7TY; ESTABLISHING AN "E" C OMMUNIT Y S T ORE DIS TRIC T ON T HE SOU TH SIDE OF GLARKSVILLE STREET, IMMEDIATELY EAST OF THE E. B. LINE OF 12TH STREET, S. E., ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO MRS. ELIZABETH WILLIAMS, SO AS TO TNCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DE.. SIGNATED AS A RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT; DESIGNATING THE BOUNDA- RIES OF THE "E" COMMUNITY 5TORE DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED; AND PLACING THE PROPERTY HEREIN INVOLVED IN THE FIRST FIRE LIMITS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that an "E" Community Store District be, and the same is hereby established on the South Side of Clarksville Street, immediately East of the E. B. Line of 12th Street, S. E., on property belonging to Mrs. Elizabeth Williams, so as to include in such "Ei' Community Store District the hereinafter described property, which was firmerly and is presently designated as a Residential District, and that the boundaries of said "E" Gommunity Store District be, and the same are hereby esta,blished as follow s: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, and being a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey, and situated on the South Side of Clarksville Street; Beginning at a stake, the N. W. Corner of a lot formerly owned by Mrs. Ruth Bedford; Thence North 66 degrees West with the S. B. Line of Clarksville Street, 75 feet, a stake, the North East Corner of the S. D. Johnson home place, now owned by J. E. Growley; Thence South 7 degrees West 135 feet a stake; Thence East 70 feet a stake on the W. B. Line of said Ruth Bedford lot; Thence North 7 degrees East 128 feet to the place beginning. the of Section Z. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris, in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1409, as amended, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3, That the above described property shall be and it is hereby placed in the First Fire Limits of the City of Paris. Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
