ORDINANCE NO. 1552 , <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br />ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLI5HING A <br />"G" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT ON THE WEST 5IDE OF 6TH STREET, <br />S. E., AND ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF EAST KAUFMAN STREET, ON <br />PROPERTY BELONGING TO J. D. WILMOTH, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br />THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATEI? AS A RESIDENTIAL <br />DISTRICT; DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE "G" COMMERCIAL <br />DISTR.IC T SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PA RIS : <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br />Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris be, and the same are <br />hereby changed, and that a"G" Commercial District be, and the same <br />is hereby established on the West Side of 6th Street, S. E. , on the South <br />portion of property belonging to J. D. Wilmoth, and on a lot 100 x 115 <br />feet on the South Side of East Kaufman Street, immediately opposite of <br />properties belonging to J. D. Wilmoth, and belonging to J. D. Wilmoth, <br />so as to include in such "G" Commercial District the hereinafter described <br />property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a Residential <br />District, and that the boundaries of said "G" Gommercial District be, and <br />the same are hereby established as follows: <br />FIRST TRACT: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of <br />Texas, within the corporate limits of the Gity of i'aris, and <br />being a part of the Larkin Ratta,n Survey, and <br />Beginning at a sta.ke in the S. B. Line of East Kaufman <br />Street 42 feet West and 40 feet South of the original S. E. <br />Corner of the Safeway Store property; <br />Thence West with the S. B. Line of East Kaufman Street <br />100 feet to the E. B. Line of an alley; <br />Thence S'outh with the E. B. Line cf said alley, 115 feet; <br />Thence East 100 feet to a rock wall; <br />Thence North 115 feet to the place of beginning. <br />SECOND TRACT: 5ituated in the County of Lamar and State of <br />Texas, within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, and being <br />a part of the Larkin R.atta,n Survey, and <br />Beginning at a point in the W. B. Line of 6th Street, S. E. , <br />at the S. E. Corner of the area which has heretofore been zoned <br />for commercial purposes and at a point approximately the North <br />East Corner of a lot known as the Faust lot; <br />Thence South with the W. B. Line of 6th Street, S. E., <br />approximately 8;- feet to the S. E. Corner of a tract owned by <br />J. D. Wilmoth; <br />Thence West approximately 237, 5 feet to the S. W. Corner <br />of a tract owned by J. D. Wilmoth; <br />Thence North 96.5 feet to the North Boundary Line of an <br />extension of East Ka.ufman Street; <br />Thence East 237. 5 feet to the place of beginninge <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris be, and he <br />is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris, in <br />accordance with the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 140', as amended, <br />and in accordance with the provisions ofthis Ordinance. <br />
