<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENIIiVG THE ZONTNG ORDINANCE OF THE
<br />CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHA,NGING THE BOUNDARIES
<br />ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING
<br />A"G" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF EAST PRICE
<br />STREET ON AN AREA IN THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY OF THE SOUTH
<br />WEST PORTION OF WADE PARK, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO
<br />MARY E. McCLANAHAN, ELEANOR M. NELSON, AND M. S. FORD,
<br />SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED
<br />AS A RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT; DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF
<br />THE "G" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED.
<br />BE IT OR,DAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PA RIS :
<br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning
<br />Map and Ordinances of the Gity of Paris be, and the same are hereby
<br />changed, and that a"G" Commercial District be, and the same is hereby
<br />established on the South Side of East 1'rice Street in the immediate vicinity
<br />of the South West Corner of the Wade Park area, on property belonging to
<br />Mary E. McClanahan, Eleanor M. Nelson, and M. S. Ford, so as to include
<br />in such "G" Commercial District the hereinafter described property, which
<br />was formerly and is presently designated as a Residential District, and
<br />that the boundaries of said "G" Commercial District be, and the same are
<br />hereby esta.blished as follows:
<br />FIRST TR,AGT: Situated in Lamar County, Texas, a part of the
<br />George W. Cox Survey, Abstract No. 164, in City Block No. 222
<br />of the City of Paris, Texas, described by metes and bounds as
<br />follow s, to -wit:
<br />BEGINNING at a sta.ke in the SB line of East Houston
<br />Street, same being the NE corner of 6 1/2 acres of land
<br />conveyed by W. W. Stell and wife to Jas. W. Moore, May 9,
<br />1910, as shown by deed of record in Book 74, Page 373,
<br />Lamar Gounty Deed Records;
<br />THENCE West with the SB line of Houston Street, 225
<br />feet to a stake;
<br />THENCE South 210 feet, a sta,ke;
<br />THENCE East 225 feet, a sta,ke in the. EB line of said
<br />6 1/2 acres;
<br />THENCE North with same, 210 feet to the place of
<br />beginning.
<br />SECOND TR.ACT: Situated in Lamar County, Texas, and being
<br />a tract lying immediately West and adjoining the above de-
<br />scribed tract, having a front footage of 100 feet on East
<br />Price Street and extending along the West Boundary Line of
<br />the Morris Ford tract, 210 feet to the NW corner of a tract
<br />belonging to W. E. Brown.
<br />Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris be, and he
<br />is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris, in
<br />accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1409, as amended, and
<br />in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
<br />Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
<br />with are hereby expressly repealed.
