provided, however, that every person who desires to park or stand a vehicle <br />in a metered parking space provided for any such area, street or portion of <br />street, beginning at any time after 8:00 oiclock A. M. and prior to 5:00 <br />oiclock P. M. on any such regulated day, shall immediately deposit one or <br />two five cent coins of the United States in the parking meter alongside of <br />and next to such parking space. If one such five cent' coin is so deposited, <br />such person sha.ll be entitled to park continuously at such location for the <br />period of time from the deposit thereof for two hours. If two five cent <br />coins are deposited at such time, such person shall be entitled to park con- <br />tinuously at suc,h location for a period of four hours from the time of such <br />deposit. That no person shall park in any of the above metered parking <br />spaces continuously for a longer period of time than four hours. Any per- <br />son who shall Park an automobile or other vehicle at or upon any of such <br />regulated parking spaces or area where two hour and four hour meters are <br />insta,lled, without depositing a five cent coin or two five cent coins of the <br />United States as herein required and provided, shall be guilty of illegal <br />parking or standing of vehicles and shall be subject to the penalty herein- <br />after provided. In the event any person parks or stands an automobile or <br />other vehicle at or upon any such metered parking space for a period of <br />time heyond that allowed and provided for the coin or coins deposited, he <br />shall be guilty of the offense of tbver parkingt' and shall be subject tQ the <br />penalties hereinafter provided. <br />Section 3. Any person guilty of the offense of illegal parking or <br />standing of a vehicle, or who shall be guilty of over parking a vehicle in <br />the above metered parking spaces, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and <br />upon conviction shall be fined as provided for in the penalty section of <br />Ordinance No. 1406. <br />Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with <br />this ordinance are hereby repealed. <br />Section 5.
