5-57 h.ssd ltay Tb, 1957 <br />Code 271 <br />T~FRAS POWER & LIGHT CO►dPANY <br />M(JNICIPAL AND PUBLIC SCHOOL SERVICE <br />SCHEDULE 1~SL-1 <br />APPLICATION <br />Applioable to munioipalities designated by Company for atrset lighting and Por all munioipal pur- <br />poses other than water and sewage pumping, and to publio ashools looated therein for lighting, hsating, <br />and power. <br />NET MONTHLY RATE <br />39 per kNh tor the first 2,000 kxh <br />2~ per kxh for the next 3,000 kxh <br />1.5~ per kwh for the next 200000 kRh <br />1.25¢ per krvh for all additional kwh <br />For billing purposes hereunder, the snergy supplied ths ltunioipality shall bs added to the snsrgy <br />supplied the Sohools, and one oaloulation mads of the total amount thus obtained in aooordanoe with <br />the foregoing rate sohedule. The total billing amount so determined shali be divided between <br />ths Munioipality and the Sohool System as a whole in proportion to the number oP kiloxatt-houri <br />supplied eaoh during the month, and 8ompany shall render a ssparate bill to eaoh for 1ts propoction- <br />ate part of the total. <br />When, in the opinion of Company, the installation of ineters for measuring the energy used under <br />this rate for strest lighting purposes is impraotical or undesirable, the amount of monthly energy <br />uaed shall be determined as provided on the reverse side hereoP. <br />SPECIAL FACILITIES CHARGE APPLICABLE TO FACZLITIES INSTALLF:D SUBSEtdUENT TO MAY 16, 1957 <br />For installations requiring the use of inetal pole mounting: <br />50¢ per month per pole, and <br />For installations requiring underground oable servioes <br />54 per month per 100 feet xhera not installed under pavement. where <br />undergrovnd serrios is required under street or sidewalk pavement, <br />oustomer will furnish and install conduit under suah pavement, in which <br />event the footage of oable installed in suoh oonduit ahall be diaregardsd. <br />Minimum: <br />1) 6aunioipal Service -$4.00 per kilowatt of the aggregate input ratings of sll lamp asaem- <br />bliea installed in the street lighting aystem, but in any event not lesa than $15.00 per <br />month; plus ;1.00 for esoh meter installed hereunder Por other than street lighting <br />servioe. <br />2) Publio Sohool Serriae -$1.00 tor eaoh separate meter inatallation. <br />diinus or plus 0.04 mill per kwh of energy taken for eaoh full one-fourth oent by whioh the aseraga <br />ooat per million British thermal units of all tLiel delivered at the pointa of firing at Company's <br />thermal plants was below or above five oents, respestively, during the thres months' period ending <br />one month previoua to the month under oonaideration. <br />Minus or plus one-half of one per osnt oP the amount oomputed at the above stated rate for eaoh <br />whole point in the "All Commodities" index below 100 or above 175, reapestively. For this pur- <br />pose there shall be employed the average oP the twelve most reoently publiahed monthly valuea <br />for the "All Commodities" index taken from "Wholesale Prioos" oompiled by the United States <br />Department of Labor (adJusted to a 1926 base if any other date should be employed Por the bass <br />by the United States Department of Labor). A new determination of suoh t welve-oonth averags <br />shall be made at the beginning of esoh oalendar quarter, and the figure so found ahall apply <br />Por billing for the whole oP suoh quarter. Failure at any time and from time to time to apply <br />this provision in the event of variation in auah "All Commodities" index ahall not oonstitut• <br />waiver of rights to apply subaequently such proviaion above said index of 175. <br />Plus the proportionate part of any new tax, or inaresaed rate oP tax, or governmentai impoaition <br />or oharge (except atate, oounty, oity, and apeeial diatriot ad valorem taxes and any taxes on <br />net iaoome) levied or assessed against the Company or upon its eleetrio business, or imposed <br />upon the Company under ita fuel purohass oontraots, as the result oP any nee or amended laws or <br />ordinances after January 1, 1951. <br />PAYL49NT <br />Bills are due when rendered, an3 beoome past due if not paid within ten days thereafter.
